There is no unity in Nigeria. A Yoruba man cannot go to Kano and drink beer without Hisbah police threatening you up and down. They even destroy beer there because they are practicing sharia law which is their business. If sharia law doesn't apply to none Muslims as they lied then why can't we drink our beer in peace. Atleast Amotekun won't arrest us for drinking. To hell with one Nigeria if that is their own version. If Kano can have sharia law and Hisbah police then Yoruba can have Amotekun and even the Ibos should have their own militia. Since that is the way we want to go in Nigeria. Rather than fully fund and equip the Nigeria Police Authority states like Kano and other northern states are funding Hisbah. Let's all fund our own Militia so when the unrest that they are brewing breaks out it will be 50-50 no cheating and no one will have monopoly of violence. Or better let us have state centered police, power, aviation etc. It's like only North is benefitting from. "Federal character" Yoruba ronu. You've been asleep for too long. We are tired of this amalgamation we want regional government. That is the solution to all this sh.it.People than burn beer openly shouldnt be benefitting from alcohol tax and VAT. Let South South keep their oil. Aboki keep their cow and Yoruba keep our education and commerce.

Mister man I am also from SS (Delta). These herdsmen have slaughtered tens of thousands in Benue, SE, SS and SW. No region is spared. I have not heard of any from Akwa-Cross and Bayelsa. But other states in the South have been seriously affected. Just recently, the military invaded Edo state and killed a local vigilante leader who arrested Fulani herdsmen that destroyed farms and killed farmers.

the west is too important to the northern unity beggars since the East have shown disdain for project Nigeria.
If two out three is not interested anymore in project Nigeria,disintegration is inevitable.

People objecting to this amotekun have sinister motive. What is wrong with people defending their territory, is self defense not legal in the constitution?

When only one region of the country is having sleepless nights over what one region wants, then one needs to worry about the selfish interests they have and what they currently benefit from the status quo.

Is anything stopping them from creating security outfits for their region? Why be overly concerned over what another region agrees it ensures its safety?
