Please house, I got promoted last year, and I've worked in the organization for 6years. My former and new role has different NOCs
I felt I should declare my work history as it is, thereby, declaring the first NOC with 4 years plus and the recent one with 1 year plus, only for me to see that 12 points have been deducted from my points. Please, what should I do? Help me with way forward. I need my 12 points back ooooo. Is it the one with 4years + that I will claim points for or can I combine NOCs? Thank you.

According to a draft document which was developed by the national headquarters for Citizenship and Immigration Canada, a practicing polygamist cannot be denied entry to Canada on a temporary basis. However, practicing the same is not permitted in Canada. so you cannot live in Canada with 2 wives...some people will lie in the application to get their second or third wife into Canada but this is a criminal offense

Incase, an applicant who has been involved in polygamous marriages or have been into conjugal relationships while in Canada or gives reasons to immigration officials to believe that he would be involved in such an act, the applicant can be denied an entry. The document has also stated various circumstances which immigration officers might face and how they must deal with it.

According to spokesman Alykhan Velshi from the Immigration Minister’s office, the department is putting all the efforts to ensure that polygamy stays out of Canada.

this Canadian immigration law have double standard because they claim religion freedom in Canada but then why denial entry for resident to people like me that marry more than one wife based on my religion belief..i cannot understand this type of limited freedom!!

White people. It is a crime for a man to marry more than one woman, but it is okay if a man marries another man.

This is one reason gay marriages should be illegal in Nigeria, since they are not ready to legalise polygamy.

The only logical reason for them permitting same sex marriage is Population control. Gay families are more likely to have fewer to zero offspring than the normal marriages.

Greetings house, first timer here.

May we all live the Canny dream and may it be our best decision ever.

I started the hustle last year August after my son was born. Prior to that time, I had not been keen about the whole immigration thing. Having my son was kinda a wake up call. In fact, he is the main reason I embarked on this hustle. I wish I had started long ago even before I got married. No doubt, I'll be outta Naija by now. Anyways, no use crying over spilt milk.

I started the WES process mid-August and till now, it has not been completed. It is simply frustrating. WES sent me a mail on November 13th saying that they have sent a mail to Unilag to verify my BSc transcript and certificate. This is where I am stuck. My evaluation is on hold as a result while my wife's evaluation has been completed. I am the PA.

I was fortunate to pass IELTS on my first attempt December 7th: L8, S8, R7.5, W7. However, my CRS score still requires a lotta beefing up especially considering the recent unfavorable spike. The stakes are quite higher. I am currently on 422 and I will be losing points this year based on age. I am in my early 30's.

I am taking the BCS IT certification exam in March. It's not been easy preparing amidst my work and family but I am optimistic about my passing the exam. I am also considering doing TEF.

All in all, I am not giving up hope. I will be giving this my all and I believe it shall not be in vain by God's grace.

This is my story. I am counting on you my seniors for helpful tips/advice/suggestions or otherwise that can help in making the dream a reality.

Thank you.

I strongly advise that you start preparing to add another certificate to your educational qualification....short courses preferably considering your age, cos the more you age, the more you lose points. You can ask about CIMA, if you have a certain amount of hr 3xperience, cipm can waive the exams for you so you apply for membership using your years of experience.......I know they do this but I dont know the entire process

Get your hubby to join you on this, so you apply as a family an the younger person with the higher qualifications and work experience be principal applicant

Lastly, if those two aren't enough, one of you should start French classes and write the exam quickly.

Thank you for your words of advise. Actually, I am male. Like I said, in a bid to increase my score, I am taking the BCS certification exam in March and I am also considering the TEF which is the French exam.

My suggestion: Since the first NOC is more than 3 years and gives you the maximum points for foreign experience, why not use it and move the rest to personal history? This way, you get back your 12 points smiley.
This is my suggestion but others can weigh in their thoughts and suggestions.

Cheers

I tried making payment for my WES Canada evaluation (IRCC). In the process of making payment, billing address was requested for and I put in WES address so it declined.

Please has anyone had issues with this and the reason I can not proceed with payment? What should the billing address be?

Hi, Billing address is the address where you live which should be the same associated to your debit card.

Thank you for the response. My fear is actually due to the recent spike in CRS score as I am weighing other options like provincial nominations. The recent NOC seems to be more in demand than the previous one.

Great plan sir.
Does your 422 consider your age, does it assume both you & spouse have ECA and IELTS and that spouse is accompanying and that your work exp is at least 3 yrs? Do you have a sibling in Canny?

There is a TEF thread but it's not a quick kill like CIMA or BCS so please be sure you need it....
