Please help me out in identifying these plants, where they are locally grown in Nigeria, their various local names in your dialect and finally the ailment the plants are use to treat.

1.Stramonium datura (jimsonweed, devil's snare,
Angel's trumpet)
2. Adansomia digitata (baobab,dead rat tree, monkey bread tree)

its for educational purpose.

I thing there's a place in ibadan that is responsible for identification of plants in Nigeria(I have forgotten the name though)...

Is it not hibiscus we are using to do zobo

Fact is, we plant what we can eat and nothing ornamental except for very few people who can afford to plant such.

In my area, there were 2 rare sunflowers growing in the bush. Bright and yellow something, aesthetically appealing. Only for me to come back and see boys playing ball, they have kick the thing down .

Thing pain me sha...something that I did not plant but something rare and beautiful like that should be appreciated but trust naija now.
