Next academic year is going to be interesting. I wonder how many people are going to test the states resolve. Kaduna will need to build more schools and hire more teachers to prepare for surge of enrollments. |

emmydiamon: Lol the zealots have the option of moving or home schooling to maintain their holiness. Even if Kaduna doesn't have the prison capacity who's going to risk their freedom foolishly. |

helinues: Kaduna state taxes the population to pay for these services. It's no different from how they fund roads or bridges. If you're referring to something else you'll need to elaborate. |

A very good initiative from El-Rufai.spread this message in the whole of the north East, force them to take their children to school to at least aquire basic education for self discipline and control of future insurgency.instruct all your imams and other religious leaders to tell them that western education is not”Haram”.use other northern elites likes of emir sanusi lamido, ibb, and many others that attended western education as example to all of them that have been brainwashed for too long. May God bless this El-Rufai for this initiative though am not his fan but this have shown the level education can make anyone to feel and reason no matter the religion. |

helinues: They'll probably provide handouts and books. The state says the provide uniforms, food and other stuff via Universal Basic Education Commission. If parents have to buy anything it's probably going pencil, pens and notebooks. Hopefully a parent will pop in tell us about kaduna public school. He said the policy has taken away the burden of tuition fees, school uniforms, feeding at the state boarding schools and other sundry charges from parents every year. |
