… PDP demands review of Jan 14th Supreme Court verdict

Former Gov. Emeka Ihedioha of Imo State has vowed to return to the Supreme Court to prove that Senator Hope Uzodinma was never candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the last gubernatorial election.

Recall that the apex court had ruled and affirmed Hope Uzodinma who came fourth in the March election on January 14th.

Ihedioha will be approaching the Apex Court based on the following grounds that there was miscarriage of Justice in its ruling.

Uzodinma was not an APC candidate and was not a candidate of any party in the 9th March Governorship election in Imo State based on the judgement of the same Supreme Court on 20th December 2019.

But when the judgement was given by 7 judges of supreme court in a unanimous decision, you guys kept mulling Tanko's name as if he was the only member of the panel. After insulting the judges, you are now going back to the "morally bankrupt, corrupt, APC judges" for a case related to the one you condemned them for.

This is a horrible judgment that sets dangerous precedent. A person that came 10th can easily be declared winner. All they’d do is present result sheets and the Supreme Court MUST accept them no matter how outrageous and defective they may be, as long as no one can produce the originals!
WOW!!!

What that means is that a ruling party (who we all know actually controls the “independent” INEC) can rig any election with impunity by manipulating INEC as to what to present or not present in court! Which will inevitably lead to a one-party state!

you are just making useless conjectures. Since Tanko is the one setting up the panel, why would he have to disband it 3 times to set up the one that will favor hope. Is that not a stupid reasoning from your end? The man in charge if he had such intent, will set up a panel skewed against an individual once and for all. Why didn't he set up such panel for sokoto and benue. Why not for other pdp controlled states in supreme court. You see, propaganda has taken a large chunk of your cerebrum and as such capacity to reason like a human has eluded you. At least I am at least giving facts from history and other previous cases , what most of people don't know is the judgement against Emeka Ihedioha is at the throat of NJC and the supreme Court, its a matter they can not swallow or vomit, it's a matter that the benches at the supreme Court will have to work very hard to correct the embarrassment, because such ruling can not be referred to at any judgment and if such is allowed you have given the judges Power to add scores to any political party, APC and these set people can not rule for ever, the karmic justice is there waiting.

Why did Ihedioha not canverse these point at the tribunal or at the appeal court? Is Ihedioha telling us that he does not know that you cannot originate a new case or introduce new evidence at the Supreme Court.
