TheOutlaw:
Former Saudi minister of justice, Mohammed Bin Abdul-Karim Issa, has announced that his country will stop funding mosques in foreign countries, Arabi21.com reported on Friday.

According to the Swiss newspaper, Le Matin Dimanche, Saudi Arabia is to establish local administrative councils for each mosque, in cooperation with the local authorities, in order to hand over these mosques to “secure hands”.

The minister added: “The time has come to hand over mosques to local administrative councils that represent Muslims in the area. The council should have an elected cleric.”

He disclosed that Saudi Arabia is to take the same measures with all the mosques all over the world, referring to “security reasons”.

It is worth noting that the minister led a delegation on Thursday to visit the Auschwitz camp on the 75th anniversary of its liberation. He honoured the Jewish victims of the Holocaust who perished during WWII.

The fear of Electric cars, clean energy, biofuels is the beginning of savings ...lol

Saudi Arabia have been heavily dependent on oil, this has made a lot of its citizens mentally lazy.

Only zoo like Nigeria don’t plan ahead.

Saudi Arabia is waking up too fast. Under their korokoro eyes, UAE has become the hub of everything development and tourism in the Middle East with Saudi fading into irrelevance.

The insanity in Nigeria wont let us see beyond the god of ethnicity, religion and greed that we worship.
uae made them woke up in the eleventh hour that fanactism doesn't add to revenue.
Saudi now doing everything to do away with extremism and fanactism in order to meet up with UAE

When countries are donating funds to tackle poverty, improve scientific research, develop technology and help humanity, these head slammers are donating funds for mosques, indoctrinating fanatics and spreading terror all over the globe.
What are just made mentioned are nothing but worldly materials which will end in this world.

They are funding mosque. Instead of using that money to build schools, hospitals, pipe borne water.
These people have no sense of priority.
No wonder the mooslims keep enrolling in Christian faith based schools.

Funding mosques or funding terrorists
Likely money laundering. Funding terrorism under the guise of funding mosque.

You guys are not particularly smart

They fund mosques = more suckers paying for Hajj/ Umrah = more money to develop Saudi Arabia.

Each Umrah is like 400k - 600k naira while Hajj is like 1.5 million.

What they have done is to leave a self sustaining money making venture the way it is.

These people have no sense of priority.

What they choose to spend on is no one business sir.

All what you've listed is what Saudis are into.

Not funding mosque again means not funding any other institutes too.

Saudi build centers which include schools, hospitals e.t.c not only mosques most time.
