This very likely fake news .

How about required 25% of votes in , 2/3 of polling units?

You think supreme court is going waste it's time on cooked up numbers?

After seeing the corrupt antics of INEC, the approx court will need evidence that every figure INEC supplied is accurate

for those that thinks it's impossible
let me brief you with history

in 2006/2007 Andy Ubah won at supreme Court against Peter Obi as governor but Peter Obi seek review and capitalized on some flaws in the judgment and the judgment was overturned to his favor
not only that he reclaimed his mandate
he made the supreme court ban any election in Anambra State till his first term completes
that was what brought about change in election time table in Anambra.
though i doubt if this sick illiterate sharia judge will allow justice to prevail but the verdict that gave Uzodinma the seat is filled with self indicted flaws that will so damage the reputation of the judiciary in the future because SANs will be making reference to the flawed judgment in the future.

all Ihedioha needs to do is to hire some competent lawyers not those tozos he worked with.
he really gat a strong case only if Supreme Court will allow justice to prevail.

Even if the supreme court ruling cannot be reversed, let Ihedioha still approach them for record purpose.

Let Ihedioha officially confront the supreme court over the fraudulent ruling they gave. Its better than street protest only.

Some of you here shouting waste of money are infants. Ihedioha is only fighting injustice and its very okay, at least for the records.

7 judges can't all make the same mistake at the same time. Most don't understand that this was a unanimous decision made by 7 judges.
Once they reverse themselves on this case, then they need to look into all other cases too. Other parties will also have the right to ask the court to reverse cases that were not in their favour. When will it stop?

I have said it severally that no matter how one look at the supreme Court ruling in the I'm elections matter,the judgement was flawed,the best they could have done was to cancel the elections completely n ask for a rerun, this is a chance for the supreme Court to redeem or destroy herself.

Doing so is an invitation to anarchy.

See below excerpt from a Supreme Court ruling please:

As I said earlier, this prayer is a bit tricky because it is settled law that once a Court has delivered its decision on a matter, it becomes functus officio with regard to that matter. What this means is that a Court cannot sit as an appellate Court over its decision; once it has decided a matter, it ceases to be seized of it, and it cannot re-open it for any purpose whatsoever - see Ogboru V. Ibori (2005) 13 NWLR (Pt. 942) 319 Sun Insurance V. LMBS Ltd. (2005) 12 NWLR (Pt 940) 608, Ukachukwu V. Uba (2005) 18 NWLR (Pt 956) 1, Ubeng V. Usua (2006) 12 NWLR (Pt 994) 244 and Onyekweli V. INEC (2009) 6 NWLR (Pt 1136) 13. But the law also says that Courts of record have the inherent jurisdiction to set aside their Judgments/decision/order, in appropriate cases. When –

a. The Judgment is obtained by fraud or deceit either in the Court or of one or more of the Parties;
b The Judgment is a nullity;
c. It is obvious that the Court was misled into giving Judgment under a mistaken belief that the parties consented to it;
d The Judgment was given in the absence of jurisdiction;
e. The proceedings adopted was such as to deprive the decision or Judgment of the character of a legitimate adjudication; or
f. Where there is fundamental irregularity.

He who the gods want to kill, they first make mad. The last time someone asked the Supreme Court to review its own judgement (Andy Uba), it was thrown out. No lawyer worth his LLB, BL would accept such a brief. It is an insult on our legal system.

INEC failed to validate results it declared for Ihedioha, so what did he expect their Lord Jstices to do? Before anyone starts shouting that our judiciary has been bribed, he should make an effort to study the judgement without sentiments.

As for Ihedioha, many of our leaders have gone to school, yet few are educated. Let us not call Buhari a dullard, but let us look at our governors first. Afterall, it is in this same country that a Professor Governor appointed a BBNaija Star Special Assistant on Garments...
I remember that Justice Idris Kutigi was the CJN then, the man was visibly angry during the review of judgement brought by Andy Uba. Kutigi then said angrily and I quote him, “THERE MUST BE AN END TO LITIGATION” and he throw away the case. Case ended. Ihedioha is just wasting his time and he cannot use Mbaise sense when the case was brought to the Supreme Court , now he want to use that but I am not sure that the Supreme Court will reverse the judgement.

Tinubu aided by Oshiomole has destroyed our democracy. What happened in Osun, Kano and most recently Kogi are all Tinubu's Formula. We all know how he unleased thugs on PDP's stronghold in the last Presidential elections in Lagos and even when he was in opposition he used Justice Salami of appeal court to steal mandates.
. That was why justice Ayo Salami was disgraced out of office by the NJC as the president of the appeal court, it was because that same reason that it's was now move to supreme Court, because it was discovered that Tinubu used Salami to put dirty judges in the appeal court who works for him, like Kudirat Kekere Ekun and many more Lagos and Yoruba judges now who work for APC, it was that scandal that made Ayo Salami to ran away from appointment buhari gave him as the chairman of the anti corruption panel the one Sagay is holding now, my joy is all this have a phase very soon they will start to accuse and expose themselves at the case if Emeka Ihedioha is shaking the NJC and the supreme Court benchers

Supreme Court hardly reverses itself becos if they do that’s, then people will be coming up with all sorts of cases for review meaning that there will be no end to litigation. There is no way 7 judges in a case can make mistake . It is not possible. Had it been that 2 Judges did not agree with the judgement, then Ihedioha would have capitalized on that. The man is still young, instead of wasting his time for review and spending money on his lazy legal team , he better strategize for 2023.

Very realistic analysis sir!
The probability of all 7 JUDGES of THE SUPREME COURT erring in a unanimous verdict in law on a particular case is ZERO!
What are you even sayinghuh

All 7 of them were either bribed or coerced to make such lame judgement... There past precedents speaks for itself.

In a sane country, they are all supposed to resign for such blunder of a judgement, but Nigeria is not a sane country...

The figures did not add up and you are saying thrash..

Let them explain why the figures do not add up.

Oga, what's your beef about Gedoni's appointment?
Do you know his background?

Let me guide you. Gedoni was into fashion before joining BBNaija.
BBNaija was just an extra ... to give him a push in his fashion career.

Now, his governor built a massive garment factory for their state but is having hitches breaking into
the Nigerian fashion market. He then thought it wise to capitalise on Gedoni's fashion background
and BBNaija fame to push the factory to the world.

So, what is bad in that?
You jump at criticisms without studying background details

.
Dear Friend, I am not against Gedoni's appointment per se. I am just saying our leaders lack priorities and even the Professors become intrinsically dull when they get to leadership. If he hired Gedoni as a consultant, I wouldn't mind. But Special Assistant of Garment Factory, who does that?

Let me tell you something, you don't need the world market to sell your products. Nigeria is a big market already. Remind me again where most of Dangote's customers reside that makes him the richest man in Africa. If you can conquer the Nigerian market, you shall become a billionaire. Remind me again what Lagos State exports...If Ben Ayade is a real Professor, then he'd get Mudi, Deola Sagoe, Ziz Cardow, Mai Tatafo and other top fashion icons as consultants. What does Gedoni know about fashion marketing?

Oga,I think you need deliverance ooo. You have misled people and the mumus too are clicking likes for your utter nonsense!

The case was decided by Supreme Court in favour of Peter Obi,from the Appeal court.The Supreme court never reversed itself!!

Rather it was Andy Uba that stupidly went back to the Supreme court for a review,which was denied.

Sahara Reporters:

''Supreme Court in Abuja rules in favor of Peter Obi, he will now complete his tenure as the governor of Anambra State while Mr. Andy Uba, erstwhile household assistant to former President Obasanjo will vacate power immediately since Peter Obi is entitled to stay in office till May 17, 2010.

Supreme Court judgement read by Justice Katsina Alau in a unanimous decision where all the seven member agreed without dissent.

Wild jubilation across Nigeria, as the most controversial governor, Andy Uba is unseated by the Supreme Court.

Last minute efforts by Andy Uba and Dangote to bribe Supreme Court judges with $7 million failed.

Peter Obi still in London said he will be returning home shortly to take over as the governor of Anambra State for the remainder of his tenure.

-----------------------------

Background:

Gov. Peter Obi (born July 19, 1961) was governor of Anambra State in Nigeria from March 17, 2006 to November 3, 2006 and again from February 9, 2007 to May 29, 2007. He is a member of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) party.

He replaced Former Gov. Chris Ngige, whose 2003 election victory was overturned by the Nigerian Federal Court of Appeal on March 15, 2006.

On November 2, 2006, Gov. Obi was impeached by 16 members of the state house of assembly after 7 months in office. He was replaced the next day by Dame Virginia Etiaba, his deputy, making her the first ever female Governor in Nigeria's history.''

Gov Obi Vs Andy Uba: Supreme Court Blasts Okonkwo Of NAP

In a unanimous verdict, the Supreme Court yesterday in Abuja dismissed applications filed by former presidential aide, Dr. Emmanuel Nnamdi Uba, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the Anambra State gubernatorial candidate of the Nigeria Advance Party (NAP), Mr. Ifeanyichukwu Okonkwo, seeking to set aside its earlier judgment which declared Dr. Peter Obi as the legal occupant of the governor's seat.

The court described Okonkwo as a blackmailer who goes about extorting money from politicians and declared that he was "not fit to even live in the jungle."

Earlier, Justice George Adeshola Oguntade had sought from Okonkwo clarification on the purpose of N10 million bribe he allegedly received from Obi. He said he was paid the said sum to withdraw his preliminary objections to Obi's appeal and not to withdraw the main appeal.

It also lambasted Okonkwo for his brazenness in approaching it with an application to set aside its own judgment upon the claims that he was paid N10 million by Obi to compromise himself at the Court of Appeal
