Pop star Billie Eilish swept the board at the 2020 Grammys, winning five awards, including best new artist and song of the year. The 18-year-old also won album of the year for her debut, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go, which was recorded in her childhood home in LA. She replaces Taylor Swift as the youngest person ever to win the award. "I joke around a lot at these things, but I genuinely want to say I'm so grateful," said the singer. Eilish triumphed in all of the Grammys "big four" marquee categories - song of the year, record of the year, album of the year and best new artist. The nominees for album of the year were Bon Iver Lana Del Rey ("Norman F***ing Rockwell" Eilish ("When We All Fall Asleep Where Do We Go" Ariana Grande ("Thank U, Next H.E.R. ("I Used to Know Her Lil Nas X Lizzo ("Cuz I Love You" and Vampire Weekend Father of the Bride" She is the first person to achieve the feat since Christopher Cross in 1981. Her elder brother, Finneas O'Connell, also picked up producer of the year for his work on Eilish's album. https://www.grammy.com/grammys/artists/billie-eilish 25 Likes 2 Shares

Burna Boy should be ashamed of himself. He couldn't clinch just one but a teenager has a deadweight of 5! If he has any decency, he should know he owes all his fans an apology. Just like Angelique, Billie didn't need to wear blings, brag over millions of Instagram followers or flaunt a celebrity partner. She learnt from Ed Sheeran and simply focussed on creating better music than the world was already used to. The millions of Instagram followers our Nigerian musicians command and the lavish lives they flaunt is the only reason most American artistes agree to stoop low to feature them and not their talent. Beyonce will rather feature a Wizkid on her album than an Asá or a Lagbaja because they are also in showbiz for more publicity. But if she were on a Music Award panel, she'd pick Asá over a Wizkid. That's the sadly true reality. 367 Likes 37 Shares |

Congrats to Kidjo she made Africa proud and to Burna for pushing his career further and globally. This is his first nomination and would go a long way to prove his worth and consistence to the global listeners. He should go back to the studio and do more jams, but to be honest winning Grammy no be child's play I just imagine Burna going beyond African Giants album means more serious work and fire blazing songs. Well congrats to all the winners and nominees y'all deserve some accolades.. cheers 43 Likes 6 Shares

I have a dream that one day we Africans will be hosting our own grammies and artists from USA and the likes of Britain will only be included in the second-tier 'world' category. ... But in that dream, Nigeria's forced marriage was no more. 19 Likes 5 Shares

Blacks can't be found to sing things reasonable. Just shallow stuff on sex and cars. Martin Luther wasted that death. 13 Likes 1 Share |
