A man has shot his wife, a mother of 6 (3 boys & 3 girls) to death in Abia community, Nkporo, this morning.

The man, Mr Kalu Ilum of Etitiama Nkporo, Abia deputy Governor's hometown, shot his wife, Chichi dead around 7am today and angry youths burnt him to death and destroyed his house.

He reportedly shot his wife 2 times and then jumped into a well. He was cajoled to come out of the well and was later set on fire.

He had been threatening to kill his wife. When the wife's relations tried to settle their differences, he allegedly told them he would shoot her and nothing will happen. The wife wanted to divorce him due to domestic abuse but he swore to kill her if she tries it.

Here are photos shared on Facebook by eyewitness, Prince Dan Iyke (Nkporo Young Speaker)

......he wanted to divorce him due to domestic abuse, but he swore to kill her if she tries.

all is finished now. lipsrsealed

Too bad!
I hope the community will train up the children since they have turned the kids to orphans. cry

Jsyk
Not in support of the man shooting the wife dead.

Honestly every African man and woman needs to be scrupulously checked psychologically to know if they are fit for marriage.

They didn't kill that man to avenge his wife, rather, he was killed because what he did was a sin against humanity.

He doesn't deserve to live among humans.

Killing is not a sin against humanity rather its a sin to God and the laws of any land. armies kill 4 a living why is humanity not doing anything about it. a sin is to God and a crime is to laws.

Since he has no parents, he has now killed the children's remaining parent.

He must have been tired of her cheating.
After having 6 kids for him, she couldn't still grow some balls to leave him even when he said he was tired of her.

Nigerian women are so dependent on the men.
They won't get a job or a source of livelihood to be independent.

Feminism would be good if these ladies practice what they preach.

Who knows how many prayer houses she would have visited, how many fake emergency envagelist that will be telling her pray for him. Who knows how she might have related her fears to her family, because of what will people say, they will tell her to endure. For every woma reading this, narscist don't change. For every woman that knows her life is in danger, please run. Stay for your children, stay for your children, now the children are without you. A horrible partner shouldn't be tolerated. Once you find out that you made a mistake, please rewrite your story. If men being evil, knows how to produce eraser and marker to clean up mess, why can't you make a u turn? Marriage is for the living, be wise!!!

OK, if you say so.

Laws that were made by humans na.

I'm yet to understand why that man will even think of killing another human, not just a human, the mother of his kids. And, he didn't think of how he will face his children and tell them he killed their mother.

Which devil? You want the man to be alive after killing his wife? You expect him to give it to devil as usual. It only means nobody is going to hell, let's keep blaming devil. I hope you know he would have been killed by court of law, Nigeria law doesn't know devil. When you want to kill, be ready to die too. He that killer by the sword shall die by the sword.

No dear, I disagree on the poverty being the cause.

It's either one is a good person, or a bad person.

There is no way someone that have a good heart, will even think of killing someone, not to talk of carrying it out.

That man is just evil.

whatever you like you can say. All I know is it's the best in a clear case like this. Nigeria that doesn't respect the rule of law even up to your failed president. If the man was a top politician, it's likely he gets away with the ruthless crime he committed. My opinion is mine, yours is yours

Those children have been rendered homeless, fatherless, and motherless. Those mobs that set the man ablaze should be charged with murder.

Why then are there police stations?

Let them start with the guy in blue top.

Also, marriage is all about endurance. If you know you can't endure, don't marry else, you would kill someone oooo.

Imagine a man comes home. His wife servers him food without meat. The man complains about meat, then the wife replies him by saying with her sharp mouth " did you give me money to buy meat?, did you know how I got the money to even make this food delicious? "

The man starts reasoning, after that he says to himself " so this woman dey sleep with men up and down, then they give her money"

One day the man gets upset and planks his wife to death.

Once again, if you can't endure, marriage isn't for you.
