You could have there was mixing of population due to the transahara trade that happened largely between people of East Africa and people of the Sahel region of West Africa. East Africa in my.opinion include current day East Africa and Middleeast which was largely Africa until Arab invasions and before the word "middle-east" was coined by fraudulent minded Europeans for political reasons

Reading the comments here just made me laugh. Shows that not many in Nairaland is really interested in this kind of stuff. I find it interesting to know that the West African and Central African region even had humans who might have originated within the region some time before the old testament and probably 300,000 years ago.
