I find it interesting to know that the West African and Central African region even had humans who might have originated within the region some time before the old testament and probably 300,000 years ago.

I don't think the Bible at anytime alluded to the world being 2000 years old. If Jesus walked the world over 2000 years, how will the world be the same age with the physical existence of Jesus?

Hmmm... Bantu speaking people include most of those south of Nigeria and since the fossils were found in western Cameroon, it wouldn't be far fetched to link this to those of South Eastern Nigeria origin. They may have to take DNA samples from Nigeria, Angola and Co to check further and this would let us know if they're or distant cousins.

This has always been true, same findings with Richard's cave men. No. My point is the population thar currently reside or dominate present day north-Africa and middle-east are not the same as those who occupied these places 1000 to several 1000s of years ago. There were several invasions of these places that was largely dominated by brown to black skin people. That'll why some black Africans from ancient middle-east migrated south towards north, west, and south of Africa. Check online to search the story of the Lemba people found in current day Zimbabwe and South Africa. When these people were claiming to be jews by custom and blood, nobody believed them until a British geneticist did a DNA analysis of the population which revealed they were not just ordinary Hebrew but that they carry DNA that trace them back to the priesthood lineage of Aaron, an ancient priest and brother of Moses. And I suppose we now mostly know that ancient Egypt was largely a black/brown population until ancient Romans and others took over. Africans are the most diverse race from black eyes to blue eyes, curly hairs to straight hair, broad nose to pointed nose, thick lips to thin lips, diverse shapes of eyes to those of Bush-men of the Kalahari that look like that of chinese; and shades of black to brown skin and albinism for those that lack melanin which is also expressed in the white man. We carry all genes. What you see physically are what is expressed but recessive genes are hidden in our DNA which is why occasionally a couple of black Africans give birth to non-albino white skin child with blonde hair.
Read the story in the link, and don't even think the black mother was sleeping around with a white man because the child was totally blonde, like no hint of a black dna.
