The 12MP lens uses pixel-binning to produce detailed and well-contrasted photos. The whole camera package becomes applaud-able when taking a shot with the 8MP ultra-wide camera enables close-up macro shots and also with the periscope-enabled optical zoom camera lens users can zoom 10x in images and have a real clear view of objects zoomed in. The fourth camera is a monochrome one that is used to capture portrait shots in some interesting color filters with the bokeh effect (background blur) well-done compared to other devices. The Reno2 remarkably performs well in when use in taking Night shots.
