You're right! I do a lot of research work that involves the use of questionnaire and one on one interviews which shows a higher percentage of the Yorubas are Christians. They are more in Osun and Oyo states, but Ondo and Ekiti has very few, while Lagos and Ogun has a bit of both. However, my personal observation is that the Muslims support each other more, hence their ability to get financial aid easily and do better in businesses

I totally disagree. I think the difference mainly is in education, The Christians are generally more educated and proceed to higher education. Maybe because many schools are misionary schools and Islam used to be looked down on as if na illiterates dem be. Thus you have more Moslems converting to Xtianity than reverse

I am from Akoko area in Ondo State, Ikare Akoko in particular. This is a meaningless question, we Yoruba see ourselves first through our ethnic identity, religion is in material bro.

Muslims are the majority in Akoko with Ikare the largest in the senatorial district, there also Muslim in Owo and Ondo town. In summary, Muslim will be 25% to 30% of the state.

Oga Muslim are not up to 5%. I have never seen Akure, idanre, ikale, owo, ondo, okitipupu indegens that are Muslim. I am from Akure, it will be hard to see Akure indegen being a Muslim.
