mrkings84:So believing in God automatically makes one wise? A lot of foolish people we see daily believe in God, go to prisons and police cells most of the inmates believe in God, yet they won't think twice before committing a crime. Even boko haram and bandits pray before going out to commit mayhem. Does believing in God make them wise? Whereas in Netherlands, where most of them are not even religious, they shut down 19 prisons in 2013 alone, just because they don't have enough criminals to fill them. Talking of wisdom even our own noble laureate Soyinka does not believe in God, is he not wise and intelligent? Has he not contributed meaningfully to humanity? The earlier we ask questions and critically think for ourselves beyond the walls of religion and indoctrination, but within logic, reasoning, common sense and empathy the better for us. |

Bynz:Oga/madam which is a greater miracle? One that occurs naturally as breathing? Or one that is done through cs without which mother and child might die? Do you know there was a time chicken pox, measles, malaria where deadly like HIV, ebola and lassa virus? Should we give God thanks for the wisdom to achieve such breakthrough? Do you know how many babies and mothers would be dead without cs? When a woman delivers via cs we should give more thanks to God for saving her through doctors but that is not the case, we rather quote the hebrew women child birth verse than face the truth...hence the Bible says my people perish for lack of knowledge...not lack of faith/prayers. In 1st Tim 5:23 St Paul advised Timothy to take not only water, but also a little wine for his stomach sake and often infirmities. |

masterP042:you are the one that is naive here. Yorubakinging is right, Christians are minority in igbo land. Even ur dilector Cownu is into Judaism and is also a pagan, majority of Easterners that I've come across are either Traditionalists, pagans or atheists, the rests are Catholics of which we don't see them as true Christians. |

HacheNoire:When you sleep in the night, do you remember all you own with your fat account at the bank? That is the wonders of our living God! Some spend money on medical care while pregnant, last last Dem go born through CS. If you ask that woman if she has gone for any antinetal clinic before, she may probably tell you no! |

Ebenezar2020:Since you're a Christian, oya use it and go and withdraw money from the bank. This christianity that always favours these yoruba pastors with jets all around, they hardly have investments in igbo land upon all the tithes and offerings our people contribute to those churches. I'm even happy that more people are getting tired of these churches and seeing them for the scam they really are. |

efeteb:Funny u baba. I remember sometime last year December, that was on 28 or 29, at Iyana-Ipaja, a fish seller gave birth to a bouncing baby boy, just by the side of the road. Kai, it was that day I knew that its only religion and tribalism that is dividing us. baba, at that moment, u no fit know yoruba, Igbo, Hausa. They women gathered some started boiling water for her to take her birth and stuffs like that. Some started contributing money and gifts. |
