Too many faulty/fake electrical fittings in the market and with this harmattan, a small fire is capable of spreading fast. May God replenish the pockets of those affected.

I have a feeling these market fires are being set up by some individuals or organizations with selfish inter9ests.
Na lie. Somebody must have been stupid and careless to cause the fire. Fire don't just appear. It must have started from someone's store before going round and of course the person who caused it will keep quiet and lie out of fear of gbese.

Everytime people will be claiming somebody is behind the fires. The person ma spirit?

This market fire issue is becoming another boko haram. Can someone please tell us what is actually happening. People are going through hell and the little they have is being destroyed by fire on a daily basis. May God save us in this country of disaster.

I have a feeling that harmattan has freezed your thought.
Noooo bro, he is totally right.
My dad owns a business in the Lagos island, and I know these trick.
In the island, any shopping complex that has issues of demolition and the occupant fails to comply by leaving, rather they went around begging or looking for a way to stop the demolition, that's what they do to the shop owners.
All this is just the handiwork of 5litre petrol, poured all over the nooks of the plaza, then they light up.
If you observe most of the fire incident don't occur in New shopping complex or daylight, except few.

Looking at the way those stalls were set up, it shouldn't come as a suprise to anyone, an accident waiting to happen, like most Nigerian markets.. Sad to day,we never learn...

Why is the weather only affecting markets?
There's lot of flammable material in markets. Cloth, wood, plastics, chemicals.

Burning markets and properties in Lagos is a crude means of reallocating resources. It could be political power, as in lets cripple the economic power of these people or let's not allow these guys up north to over run us as they are now migrating from all over Africa.

There is something fishy about this inordinate insessant fire outbreak all over the place. Yoruba people must begin to check unwanted unsolicited visitors from hell among them before its too late there is a grand plan and this must be rooted out ASAP.

you are right on this one because my mother's shop rent used to be 300k then a fire outbreak started all the shops were demolished and rebuilt even though the fire no even reach their side the rent was increased to 500k per annum and must pay for 2years in advance and that was how she lost that shop and all her customers
