The driver before me took this guy to ayobo or so and the trip ended at 5500 until now the driver hasnt received that alert. I then got his request at ikeja under bridge to shrine, took him and his drug head friend there in fact both of em drug ass whimps. Got to shrine started wasting my time with nonsense stories about how he forgot his modem at his mums place, he called his mum on my phone big mistake, he also called the earlier driver on my phone about his modem and too bad for him he left it in the drivers car, another mistake. Oya pay me na trip was 700 bolt gave a 200 discount, give me 5h make I de go na he say he wants to do a transfer of 1k so I will give him 5h so he can have change on him (no big deal, done it w couple times for some riders) oya do it na, baba showed me alert they deducted 1010 naira. Mind you all this happened sharply ooo. I left and got home n didnt see 1k alert. My mind started telling me it's a fake alert, I decided to call the earlier driver since he called the dude on my phone, baba say him never see alert yet and him mind don already de tell am say na fake alert the boy show am.

Say the time wey the boy use my phone call am say make him come meet am for shrine return the modem say him just reason am say him go rather go drop the modem for bolt office so that if he receive him alert the boy go go collect am for there.

The guy called me like 30 mins later saying omo be like say na fake alert that boy do for am oo cos him don check him bank app him never still see the money. Chaii na him I weak finish.

I eventually got the boys number from the other driver cos the number he has on the app is off, same with the number he called me on when he booked. Called him, he de talk nonsense, say if I get any complaint say na bolt I suppose direct am to. I Come tell am say na ordinary 1k na say bro if you needed help that bad all you needed to do was talk to me as a man and if I want to help I will.

Funny cruise but na the first driver wey Carry am I pity pass wasted fuel n time. Cant trust none of these riders no more oo no matter how good looking they are, and I used to be so cautious ehh.

Now I'm thinking of texting his mum and telling about her sons escapades. Dont need the bread again sef but just so she can be aware of what her son is up to, Make he no go red for the guy one day she go surprise.

Boss u don't want to drop his number, let's fire the cylinders in his piston. We do that for free

Please make this complaint known on their app in the playstore. Just drop your review there. If many drivers can make it an issue, prolly they will work on it. I have done mine.
Don't mind them, we nigerians know how to complain about things but will never lift a finger to remedy the situation.

Only in this forum we have nothing less than a 100 drivers even if we r 50 I've said these b4 we can start from somewhere,
if 50 of us can come together I dont mean gathering at a particular venue ooh, we r already here,
we contribute little token
print banners with some captions of areas we need change
Pick a particular day for a peaceful protest
Go to the police zonal headquarters to get an approval
Tie those banners on our cars
Then we all drive from our various location to a particular point then start driving to their head office in VI
As we go any driver we see along the road we tell them to join us.
Some will definitely join and our Nos will increase.
We'll tell Uche this is just level 1 and give him an ultimatum because d next time we come he won't like what we'll do.

Tell me if this protest is done just once you think taxify
/uber won't adjust?

But we all just want to sit at the comfort of our home and expect a change, complaining on their app won't change anything. And change will never come without a drastic measures taken

Hello friend,

Is GtBank loan ok? Yes, I’ve taken from there before at even 1.72% back then.

Any hidden charges? No, it’s a flat rate. You get to even save some interest if you can liquidate it at some point.

Are Nigerian used cars entirely bad? Quite dicey. Not all Nigerian used cars are bad but you’d be needing the services of a good mechanic that way you can save roughly 300 to 400k.

Is Uber business that booming? I do not think so; low fares, bad roads, high tension when you don’t get paid by your partners and all.

Should I take risks? Absolutely yes, fortune favors the bold. Things could go south or north.

My advice?
1. Let him not take say above a 1m as loan so he doesn’t get weary while paying, loans can be tiring as you’d be counting down

2. Let him buy a car which is the big daddy in this case; if he sub let’s it and it turns bad, he takes his car back, fix it and use for his personal runnings.

All the best as you help guide him.

God bless you.

God bless for this. He is thinking of settling for 1m and his plans is not to pay the entire loan from Uber because he has other side businesses he does though the money doesn't come often but when it does it comes in big.

I'll surely attend and give feed back. Competition is really getting to uber, they have almost ignored african market and focused on Ameriacan and Europe. But the EU is giving them a tough time in Europe. Africa is a virgin land no body dey worry them aside the regular competition from bolt ocar. They need to sit up or sit out.

Bro, one or two of your coils is the culprit. Many scanner out there won't reveal it.

Next time you start to experience it, go to your mechanic and tell him to check the coils. Let him check for sparks as he's removing each of them....

Crude fix is, use blue gum(silicon gum) to fix defective one. Hope you understand and I hope it helps.

Thanks man, I will do just that this weekend. I’m traveling so the mechanic will use all the time to repair it

This is exactly why Nigeria might not work. Granted that the Lastma officer shouldn't have attempted to forcefully gain entry into your vehicle, you equally failed to acknowledge that you deserve a fine or at least a speeding ticket for violating a traffic law.

Obeying the rule of law is what makes the society sane.

God bless our hustle.

The traffic light wasnt even working mr good citizen of Nigeria anytime u encounter such or any minor mistake on the road allow them gain entrance into your car and lets know how far u go with solving Nigeria problems. Sane country my asszzz.

What happened to a warning ticket in the rule of traffic law when they were creating the laws in this part of thw world? Ok, they forgot to copy that right but copy the once that will enrich the government at the expenses of the citizenry right?
