All the three arms of the Nigerian government presently in the jungle democracy has failed the Nigerian populace. Since the law enforcement agencies in the shithole called Nigerian have been overburdened with security or lack thereof, the national assembly should have passed the law for law-abiding citizens of the country to be able to bear arms. The country's law agents cannot be everywhere at all times therefore individuals should be able to provide security for themselves. Besides first natural law of nature is self preservation. The members of national assembly should stop pointing accusing fingers toward the executive branch of the government since they have done absolutely nothing to help the situation. |

efighter:are you claiming that insecurity in the country hasn't increased?...must everything be partisan. Can't we call a spade a spade. Insecurity has drastically increased with the country being polarized because of inactivities of the government, why do you think stuffs like Amotekun is coming up...Sometimes what you hear about Bokoharam and it being managed is very false. Come and see first hand what is happening in Borno. We should try and speak the truth even if we are bias. The country is doing badly in security right now |

This is a strong statement. First, It's democracy of power separation, pitting the Presidency(-t) against the legislature. A pointer to the lacklustre response from the Senate. Maybe there's some sense of hope where the Reps coUld kick start They must stand together and also find solutions, and win some respite ........ We are all NIGERIANS...first |

Dedetwo:It's already legal to bear arms. Nigeria just has restrictive gun laws. The 1990 fire arms act needs to be amended to allow citizens to carry more powerful weapons like semi automatics. The approval process requires you get permission from IGP. |

Service chiefs are not the problem. The task is overwhelming. The root problem is bad economy. |

Some security issues are handled with political tone by the politicians. So there are limitation to service chiefs on those issues. Politicians are to blame of lack of political will. |
