Every consideration must be directed towards the safety of the people. To ease access to transport in this area and at the same time curb insecurity Keke napep can yet be allowed to operate but managed by the union and the cda to ensure security Okada should be banned due to their proclivity to crimes by external criminals Vote National Rebirth Vote Debo Martins |

Benbobola:majority of you don't know the implications of having illegal immigrants everywhere including boko haram elements in thousands in Lagos disguising as okada men., plateau state for instance banned it during Jos crisis and that was the end of the crisis because these fighters and trouble makers relocated to southwest. the moment okada was banned in those states, they started throwing their okada into the next available trailer heading to Lagos, that is what is responsible for the high number of Chadians , Nigeriens , Senegalese and Malians you see in Lagos today, a LGA office was burnt down few weeks ago including all the sewing machines the government is using for skill empowerment programmes, that is boko haram loading. they even burgled all the offices and stole all valuables in the broad day light . this is a matter of security of life and properties

Keke can be used for internal transport, Danfo for feeder roads to the expressway and only LASG busses on the express way in the bus lane. Okada should be banned completely. Keke and Danfo should be highly regulated with licenses and extensive background checks. Must be a Nigerian citizen and reside in Lagos. Also, use of cars in Lagos should be made expensive to deter the amount of road users and promote more use of public transport. Those coming in to the state should be tolled to the highest and carry the toll papers around to be renewed every week. So that people don’t go and register their cars out of state to get around that rule. Congestion in Lagos is too much. In a metropolitan city only those who can afford the high cost of owning a car should own it. |

Recipe to increasing armed robbery and theft in Lagos state.... People have been using danfo and corrola for robberies and a lot of accidents involve cars and why haven't they banned those? They think they re solving problems? They are only making matters worse. |

Youngkingjaey1:They should all go back to thier village. We have enough problems in Lagos already. |
| Re: Okada Ban: Ajao Estate Residents Protest Exclusion by Farki: 8:41pm On Jan 30, 2020 |
So they are still robbing that place? It's really a shadow of it's former self, all the houses have been overtaken by hotels and the roads have been ruined, glad I moved out. |
| Re: Okada Ban: Ajao Estate Residents Protest Exclusion by murmee: 8:53pm On Jan 30, 2020 |
deboysben:Your aboki brothers can go back to where they came from. Okada was banned in the city of Kano and heaven did not fall. Motorbikes are not made for commercial transportation. I blame the LASG for allowing it in the first place. Now, everyone sees abnormal as normal. What a big shame! |

I really support this movement with passion ...if you know wat this foolish keke rider behaves there eh you will pity those living in ajao estate Common from here to here them go begin tell you #100 .. something that use to be #50 journey before....infact they don't have any ride for #50 again...poor masses like us treck virtually all the time on that road... |
| Re: Okada Ban: Ajao Estate Residents Protest Exclusion by murmee: 9:00pm On Jan 30, 2020 |
datola:Your last paragraph is so apt. Trailer loads of Okadas and their riders arrive Lagos every other day from all over neighbouring countries. That was how Boko haram started. No responsible Government will close his eyes and allow terrorists to invade his territory ! |

| Re: Okada Ban: Ajao Estate Residents Protest Exclusion by Nobody: 9:28pm On Jan 30, 2020 |
I hate Okadas. They should ban it all over Nigeria let people walk it's great for losing weight. In Ghana people walk from house to taxi ranks not a big deal. My estate back then was almost 2 kilometres long to the taxi rank no okada or keke I walked and I loved it. Ban Okada all over Nigeria they are a nuisance, let's find other means to engage them. And lastly they are a security threat. God Forbid a religious crisis should start in Lagos they will be the first to start slitting your throats. |

| Re: Okada Ban: Ajao Estate Residents Protest Exclusion by MrNipplesLover(m): 9:39pm On Jan 30, 2020 |
