COMPLETES ITS TWO TERMS NIGER DELTA GROUPS INSIST. PANPIEC AND
OHANAEZE NDIGBO REACTS.
PANPIEC TO VISIT PRESIDENT BUHARI AND LEADERS OF ETHNIC NATIONALITY
ORGANISATIONS IN NIGERIA


Five Niger Delta Pressure groups have insisted that the 2023
Presidency should be reserved for Igbos or the Niger Delta would
complete its truncated two tenure in 2023
The groups included Niger Delta Political forum, South South Youth
congress, Centre for Niger Delta Issues, Ijaw Rennaisance ,All Niger
Delta Interest Groups. The groups spoke through their spokesmen, Ini
Ifiok, James Akpowhere, Idongesit Emeri, Ibinowei Fine boy, and
Charity Boyloaf.

The groups noted that Nigeria owe a political debt to Ndigbo which
should be paid in 2023 for the unity of the country noting however
that if the North insist they would complete the Yaradua tenure even
after the Buhari eight years then the Niger Delta would complete the
Jonathan's truncated tenure of 2015.

Reacting to this, the Umbrella group of all groups championing the
2023 Presidency of Igbo Extraction , the PAN NIGERIA PRESIDENCY OF
IGBO EXTRACTION COALITION, PANPIEC expressed its pleasure that
Nigerians from all geo-political zones have now seen the need for
political equity and justice in Nigeria through effectuating a Nigeria
Presidency of Igbo Extraction in 2023. The Director of Media and
Publicity of the group Prince Uche Erondu who recently received awards in far away Greece and two other countries for his role in Nigeria and African unity congratulated the Niger Delta
groups for their support and hoped other stakeholders in Nigeria would
sort their differences out and support the Equity project in 2023. The
North , Niger Delta and the West all owe a debt to Ndigbo and should
settle it before making any sectional demand , Chief Erondu advised.

In his reaction the Spokesman of Ohanaeze Ndigbo world wide Chuks
Ibegbu noted that Ohanaeze position remains the Restructuring of
Nigeria but however supports an Igbo to succeed Presidency Buhari in
2023 for justice and equity.Ibegbu noted that Ndigbo supported the
Niger Delta, the South West and even the North at various times and
these zones should now support the Igbos in 2023.
Ibegbu thanked Gen Yakubu Gowon, Tanko Yakassai, Gen Ishola Williams,
Alh Balarabe Musa, Ebeneze Babatope, E K Clark, Bitrus Pogu leader of
Middle belt Forum , Gen Domkat Bali , Gen T Y Danjuma, Gen Zamani
Lekwot, Gen Ibrahim Babangida , Chief Ayo Adebanjo,Air Commodore
Ndogesit Nkanga, and several Nigeria statesmen now calling for
political justice in favour of Ndigbo in 2023.
Ibegbu however called on Igbo politicians and Igbos to put their acts
together and speak with one voice on the issue.
Ibegbu called for quick intervention on the Leah Sharibu matter as it
has become a National embarrassment .
