it is not yet open but log in to your ptdf portal and you will see a guideline on DAAD on the left hand screen

I was thinking in this direction too. abstract is like the summary of your thesis i believe.

This is supposed to be basic. Your abstract is the summary of your thesis as whole. Topic, aim, objective, methodology, result and conclusion.

Wait to be shortlisted first. I don't mean to discourage you but less than 10% of applicants will be shortlisted for the interview.

A friend applied for MSc last year and made it to the interview stage but was not among the successful ones because of some reasons during the interview. he asked me if he can still use the same personal statement or statement of purpose that got him to the interview last year or do you propose he drafts another one.

shortlisting for interview is not based on sop... they use class of degree and Olevel grades. who'll possibly read the sop of 27k applicants?

k. someone told me they might be using an app to check for authenticity and uniqueness of the sop. if the app finds it to contain plagiarism or poor English, it's going to screen it out.

I want to ask does anyone here have an idea of when ptdf will pay the awardee for last successful scholars of the local scholarship?

Lol, guy. Almost everyone that made the interview stage last year had first class. No one uses SoP until interview.

Ermm, not sure they are rigid about the selection...everyone applicant is given an equal chance and if your application scales high, you're invited for the interview.

I just got an offer from university of dundee for energy economics, they accept c6 in waec or neco or IELTS.

From exprience of pple here, I have seen someone who applied 3 times with same SOP and was invited

You are right. the 41 applicants shortlisted last year from Edo State had FIRST CLASS. I was shocked when I saw it. it is good to have a FIRST CLASS.

Yes, First Class guys have a very high chance of getting this scholarship, because most of them also have great O'level results and the two points I mentioned gives them high chance of getting the scholarship. Also,most of those guys have several awards ,like best graduating student and other awards.
But,guys just try your best and pray for God's grace,I got the scholarship last year after four consecutive application by God's grace.
I graduated with Second Class Upper and I met someone too during our induction,he is from Lagos,he graduated with Second Class Upper.
Guys, just try your best and make your interview superb and pray for God's grace.

Use your company address or any of your relative company address or friend, then, when they send it there, you get the hard copy and upload it on your PTDF profile.

I am yet to see the "Nigerian-German Postgraduate Training Programme" on the list of the funding Programme.
