Who will be armed? According to the new law, any civilian aged 18 or above can apply for recruitment and there is no maximum age. But recruits cannot belong to any political party. Volunteers must be “patriotic and loyal” and must have a “spirit of sacrifice”. The law mandates that a minimum of 10 volunteers be recruited in each village or residential area. Imagine o, poor Burkina Faso has taken drastic measures because of 60 people that were killed in that country but here in the zoo, teens of thousands of lives have been lost, with hundreds lost this new year yet it is business as usual. Yet if any constituent part decide to protect themselves, the so-called federal government will bring down the roof. The world should act now and hold top government officials aaccountable for crime es against humanity. Thousands of peasants and farmers that were massacred needs justice. Perpetrators must be arrested and justice seen to have taken place as a detterent because another regrettable Rwanda type of genocide is going on in Nigeria as we speak. |
