Those cities you mentioned got alternatives in place but what alternatives does Lagos have? Nothing.

Even the buses and ferries should've been launched before banning okada and keke, not AFTER banning them and causing confusion everywhere.

And if you didn't know, policies like this repels investors and gives the city of Lagos and Nigeria a bad name and we don't want that.

Last year, a cousin left his car at home and rushed out with an okada man to meet up appointment but he never got there. He had a bike accident and died. A fellow church member, choir coordinator died through okada accident on his way to work. These were promising young men. I was shocked when a colleague told me he took an okada from airport to VI. I literally told him he is evil. He asked why? I said
1, Your wife has no job and you basically taken care of her and two kids.
2, You are paying tuition fee for your brother and your own sister
If you had died you will be at rest somewhere while these people life will be miserable.

Thank God keke did not kill anyone you know. So, why did they ban keke too?

Do you know how many more people could have died inside Lagos traffic in the absence of bikes? Do you know how many people have managed to meet up with their own appointments and flights thanks to those same bikes? Do car accidents not kill people in Lagos too? The fire that killed hundreds on Otedola bridge is it not a car that sparked the fire? The government should have banned cars as well, abi?
