Nigerian presidency should be rotated amongst the six geo-political zones. We should also have 6 vice preseidents representing each zone.
What do you think about this?

Based on the current political system, it gonna be hard to execute... Gonna take long procedures, and our Senators ain't ready for such... To me nigeria is over populated based on the current state of her economy...
If not for the factor of over population and Large ethnic groups,, I think Unitary system would have been better..

I think it is a very bad idea. Apart from it being undemocratic, the rotated Presidents would only concern themselves with their own political zones whilst in power, while everyone else agitates. And any policies imposed or projects began during their terms would be rescinded or discontinued when their term is done. You'd have to increase the powers of the Vice Presidents too, and that is likely to clash with the President's and the governor's.

Sounds like a recipe for a split Nigeria disaster, to me. But of course you may explain it further.

Good idea. But like you said, is not feasible. It could only happen if we had a one-party system. If presidency was zoned to the north under apc for instance, pdp might say their policy as a party supports rotation to the south, in case the last president produced by their party was zoned to the north. Having zonal president isn't achievable under this constitution written for us by the military

Nigeria is too Large, over populated, deeply divided, irreconcilable differences among its citizens (no matter the pretence, culture, religion, ethnicity, mutual suspicions and the backwardness of the North) to be a single country. On that precious day, it will disintegrate and reaggregate itself.

The projects would be zonal based interest and it will stop if another zone step on it...

Have you considered how larger populated and more ethnically and culturally diverse nations co-exist.

Consider India, China, America, all with larger populations, though you may likely not know they are as diverse if not moreso than Nigeria. Even America, that might seem the least not so is very diverse indeed with diverse Europeans migrating there to begin with then millions of Africans from all over plus many others since.

We might not disintegrate. It is just possible that we educate ignorance out of ourselves and learn to live together like other larger nations have. And once we do, we might just educate the rest of Africa too.
