Making profit/returns isn't the issue here, the issue is the fear of WB driving into panic-mode again by going for another, "wether na hard reboot, or na soft reboot" I go call am again.

This movie needs to make a "superlative profit/returns" before it can really be classified as success o. Not because it cost $80m - $90m than $350m or $400m is good.

$400m for any cbm movie from DC or MCU is not a sign of good thing.

The late uplifting of the embargo is a sign of "all not being well", since their 2-3 past cbm movies' reviews were released 2-3wks before premiere date.

As I said I m giving my unbiased review.

this is the best thing coming out of DCEU. This movie was so real. This movie deserves a billion dollars not that piece of trash called Aquaman. DC messed up by not releasing this good family movie during Christmas .

As someone who has read all Shazam comics since Geoff Johns started writing shazam, the casting was 100% accurate, the story was good that I didn't check whether the CGI is bad or not, or even notice whether everywhere is dark(as usual), the humor were well placed. Characters development were good.
Some people are saying they copied power rangers which is not true , Shazam family appeared before power rangers.
Also love the fact they referenced fawcott (the original owner of shazam that DC destroyed )
where were these people when DC were making trash.

I must confess I really enjoyed this movie
Shazam family casting was just accurate with the comics and the story was just too real.

Oga, the embargo was lifted since about 2 weeks ago. I posted screenshots of fans and critics who were called to watch it and gave their review.

The only thing was that WB decided to delay the reviews on RT which makes a lot of sense as RT of lately have been showing bias to Joker(another dc movie) and attacking it because it has been winning awards while their endgame is ignored.

So, it makes logical sense to delay it on RT while social media does the work of positive-marketing of the movie the more on SM platforms

If you don't know; MoS had almost overwhelmed positive social media reviews when it was first premiered for few to watch, but what happened later.......you know the rest...

I want BoP to succeed like every other "right-thinking" DCians out there, but the over delay is making me uncomfortable (despite I don't give a damn about RT).

Even when you follow the trend of MCU you will notice that all their movies RT scores embargoes were usually lifted 3wks before their premiers except for Captain Marvel which was delayed and we all saw how messy that movie was despite it being certified fresh.
