Hi guys, I'm about to buy an Opel Zafira Car 2002

The idea is to use the car for a transport business outside Lagos (Calabar)

In other not to make the wrong decisions I would appreciate if anyone who knows a thing or 2 about this cat can share some pros and cons of using it for a transport business.

I noticed that Nigerian regions have cars that are popular in each region, in jos and bauchi Opel vectra , Sharon and vento are the most popular hence the parts and machnics are always available, so just check for the most dominant vehicle for ur kind of transport business, just like corrolla to uber

check what minivan is commonly used for commercial in your area and go for it.

Your best bet is toyota sienna or volkswagen sharan. Leave that opel alone.

The opel is an amazing car.
Very strong. Good fuel economy and they are fast... Stable on high speed too.
If there is adequate support, available parts and capable Mechanics in your area, its a great choice. However like bigiyaro mentioned, do a survey of the vehicle thats mostly used in your area. That wld give U an idea of the parts and expertise you can access....

However on a good day tho, that opel na better motor forget

Which engine capacity is better to buy for the zafira if somebody wants to use it for transportation biz? They have 1.6, 1.8, 2.0, 2.2 engines

Any thoughts on that?

For the zafira, considering its size and number of people it would carry i would suggest you get the 2.2... so U get as much power as possible.

The Opel zafira would perform better than a Toyota picnic, Avanza, sienna, Previa, Avensis verso infact add all Toyota mini van join they have nothing against the zafira.

They are motorway cruisers...... If appropriately serviced and looked after properly, they usually return the favour.......

I sold it December last year and I am going for 2.2 engine 2004 model.

I repair my car in Opel specialist here in Abuja.

Trust me between sienna and zafira I will go for zafira any day and any time.
