| Re: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by Jimi24: 3:18pm On Feb 07, 2020 |
kabe1:Honestly, JF 17 Block III will struggle against Rafale. Best to invest in modern highly mobile SAMs to the extent of having capability to move them by heavy choppers for quick set up inside undefended enemy territory If Cameroon or Niger starts to misbehave, we cant take on France in the air but 3 MI 171s can fly a battery of BUK, Akash, S-300 or S-400 anywhere in W.Africa. As long as there are technicians to errect and calibrate quickly. |

MiddleDimension:considering our budget we don't want to have jets rotting away in our airfield. How many su30 is Uganda still able to maintain and fly..... |
| Re: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by kabe1: 3:46pm On Feb 07, 2020 |
Jimi24:Why did I say the Block III JF-17 would be better to counter the Rafale? If we look at the recent air war India and Pakistan had, you will see that it was tactics that won the skirmish for Pakistan. This is despite the fact that India has a far superior air force than Pakistan. Pakistan flew into India, this is despite the fact that India has better air defence than any country in south east Asia. The JF-17 Block III may not be able to match the Rafael in raw performance, but the Block III has a better radar. You also have advanced Chinese AAM which are comparable to the meteor missile. So that's why the JF-17 Block III is the best bet within a budget we have to counter the Rafale. |

kabe1:How can you make such claims without a shred of evidence? Secondly, the Jf17 is integrated with Arguably the most advanced short to mid range AAM currently on the market.... But it's not Chinese .....its from that country in the South of Africa you don't like that much. |

kabe1:I know , it's just fun which it should be as real life is tough as it is, with no respite for the good people. 2nd part yes to a certain degree , yes Just for the sake of conversation Ants are highly organised living beings , their efficiency is unparalleled , humans cannot even come close . They don't have any options for elections , choice etc. They all have designated roles for maximum efficiency as a species. Humans have the luxury of chaos , anarchy and so called freedom ( which for the common people all over the world is meaningless anyways ) because we don't have external threats other than ourselves. What if a higher intelligent and powerful beings existed ? Would we have the luxury of the above like freedom , elections etc then. Food for thought. Anyways I am pleasantly surprised to see this side of yours. Totally unrecognisable from the older kabe. Did you get married or what ? ![]() |
