There are 2 special planes in d presidential air fleet made for the POTUS. there is no special plane called Air Force 1 it is only a traffic name given to any of those plane. It is only called Air Force 1 if the president is onboard any of those 2 planes. Those 2 special boeing planes is available for the first family and others but one must always be on standby as back up. Ivanka and Jared are always on it. There is nothing wrong if a member of the first family use s plane in the presidential airfleet especially in a country like Nigeria were there are no schedule flights from Abuja to many other cities. Our laws and rules has not been well tested in court since 1999 and it is good that people and groups takes take government actions they found abnormal to court for interpretation otherwise the abnormal will become normal in this country.

Ivanka Trump and Jared can only use the planes in the presidential fleet, if accompanied by a senior secretary of state, or if Ivanka is carrying out an official trip on behalf of the govt, like when she went to India last year to represent Donald Trump. Google is still your friend.

It is not about winning the case but the public awareness brought forth! Allow me to quote the provision for who can use the "Presidential Jet" as highlighted; the president, vice president, senate president, speaker and any other person authorized by the president! If the president's daughter use of the tax payers funded jet for personal engagement is in line with the provision set aside, then let's question if the use was duly authorized by the president and nobody else. Nigerians would like to know and the lawyer is on the right track! Gone are the days that public office holders take Nigerians for a ride.

Let me reiterate that this was a "personal engagement" and the presidential jet as far as I know is for official use. The debate continues!
