Nobody was competing. you are the same sluggard who told me you are quickly closing the life expectancy gap on Kenya. So you are the one comparing yourselves. We would care less if Ghana continued to close the gap or even overtake. They key thing is, the current cohort of Ghana kids being born today are expected to live less than their East African counterparts. And, obesity is no longer a sign of development. Its a sign of junk foods.
if you are not complaining, then why the unnecessary and schmuck question? you can't be telling me you care less when the urge to compare the two never escape from your skinny self . you dimwit. this life span is something that is subjected to annual reviewing. And you forget to also check on your survival line . what is the indication of a kenya surviving death at birth . Ghanaian kids has more chance of surviving at birth than kenyans. so for a kenya to even live 67, the Kenyans will first survive at birth . and in this case, a kenya is more likely to die at birth than a Ghanaian.

You keep embarrassing yourself . junk food ( known as fast food ) is more common to the developed world not poor Kenyans .

Again dumber

Exercising is a whole lifestyle trend in SA worth billions, good dieting is a lifestyle fashion in SA ( mind you we are not talking about the dry maize that most kenyans will have to rely on because of starvation) , SA has better healthcare access than Kenyans

Yet Kenya has better life expectancy than SA

Go and learn what life expectancy is about and stop making a joke of yourself. grin grin

Such level of dumbness is only expected from orangutans

Healthcare is one of the factors that determine life expectancy.

Check the bolded twice, thrice.

Healthcare is just one factor. Not the sole factor.

One more time,

JUST ONE FACTOR

Good!

And I mean the quality of it, not the quantity, or the sexiness of the nurse, or how much you pay the doc, or the number of floors of the hospital. You have to be Ghanaian not to understand. Whats fashion, billions and maize got to do with anything?

SA have a shorter expected lifespan mainly because of HIV and crime. HIV is a medical factor, in case you didnt know. If you want to know healthcare plays a direct role in the life expectancy, compare SA life expectancy with countries with similarly high prevalence of HIV but with a worse healthcare sector, like Eswatini and Lesotho. The life expectancy in SA is 62, in Eswatini is 57, and in Lesotho is 54 yrs.

Give me a sober response, not a juvenile rant.

I dont know the life expectancies in the respective countries when those older folks were born. Do the research. However, I doubt you have more elderly people than Kenya, first of all Nkrumah, who reps the older generation died at a pitiful young age of 62, while Kenyatta his agemate, and former forest fighter, died at a ripe age of 86. We were talking of the current life expectancy before you started playing mind games. As we've seen, kids born in Ghana today have to be a very sorry lot.

Ghanaian kids have a better chance to life than Kenyan kids.
Ghanaian kids are less likely to die at birth or during their first 5 years than children born in kenya.

Ghanaian are more likely to come out of childbirth without any form of mental deprivation unlike kenyan kids who leave the hospital mentally deformed.

How foolish is this guy? No one said we have a better healthcare sector. The thing is Kenya doesnt have a HIV burden as big as SA.

What socioeconomic issues? Do you actually think you can hide behind that word? Give me the list of the socioeconomic issues causing high mortality in SA. Fyi, the leading causes of death in SA are all diseases. We are back to healthcare, son.

You keep digging yourself deeper into this pit.

The child mortality rate in Ghana in 2018 was 47.9 deaths per 1,000 live births. In Kenya, same year, it was 41.1 deaths per 1,000 live births. Where did you get your fake statistics son? Its now proven beyond any reasonable doubt that the entire Ghana healthcare is trash compared to Kenya's.

As I've told you, obesity these days is a sign of poor eating habits. The correlation notwithstanding.

Sometimes you are typing without thinking. Which social economic issues are you talking? The guy told you about crime and HIV which are a major concern in SA,but you talk of HIV alone!
Even the HIV drugs are not taken seriously by most SA aids patients due to " I don't care" attitude.

Protein malnutrition, or kwashiorkor, is mostly found in people living in geographical areas that have limited food resources. It's most commonly seen in children whose diets are low in protein and calories

The evidence proves otherwise. Both data and empirical. We've seen the data showing without any doubts that Ghanaians cannot expect to live more than Kenyans, and then we have gone to the empirical side and we've seen that even your most priviledged citizen ACTUALLY lived as long as a Kenyan common citizen. We dont need to go into the intricacies of what killed Nkrumah, because if anything we would have expected Kenyatta to die first in the forest. If you say so, then Nkrumah possibly died of internal stressers as he saw Ghana turn upside down, which possibly means the average Ghanaian cant handle much psychological trauma, which probably explains why they cant be expected to live long grin

Ive also shown that Ghanaian kids kick the bucket more frequently at birth than Kenyan kids. Actually, Ghana loses 6 children more than Kenya per 1,000 live births. Ths shyt aint working for you bro grin

The genius has completely lost it. I had given you a respectable figure but you decided to just make it worse for yourself by bringing even more damning data. Do you know how to interpret data? Seems you think the higher the number the better. Its infant mortality son, not GDP or PPP. Tell you what, with your new data, which is actually similar to self immolation, Ghana loses a whooping 17 children more than Kenya for every 1000 live births. 47.9 for Ghana vs 30.6 for Kenya. So sad bro.
