Please, I wanna purchase a quadcopter (drone) for aerial photography.

I wanna ask if it's a contraband.. I checked custom website and it's not listed. However at the post office, when I picked up stuff in benin, the ladies there said t'will be seized.

So please can any one clarify me?

You'll need a clearance for drone importation. So, it'll be seized but you can ask the seller not to declare it as drone. It's a 50/50 chance.

Just keep waiting till after the expiration of the extension. Most shops seem not to process orders until after the extension. I've got over 13 orders under processing. One is as old as 11/01.

If you wanna buy a drone, use a freight forwarder for shipping.

The freight forwarder would be responsible for shipping and custom wahala.

People ship and clear drone from USA & China without issues.

Sure, it depends on what you want to buy though, and you have to look for really cheap deals

This might come in handy. Stores in Hong Kong have been shipping out items 48 hours after payment.

its true . don't blame them. It seems the post office hqtrs focus on Lagos items first. My items arrived 4th and 10th January. I received it last week. February 6th. A month after arrival. I live outside Lagos too.

The remaining items I believed have also arrived.

So waiting for them.

Be patient if you're outside Lagos.

It depends! Are they registered items? If they're not registered, you can't blame NIPOST cuz they might no have the packages with them. Also, unregistered items pass through the zonal office, not directly to your state from Lagos.
