An unknown disease has reportedly killed 15 people in Nigeria. Medical experts say the disease appears not to be ebola, Lassa Fever or Coronavirus.

The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) is currently investigating the outbreak of the unknown mysterious disease. The outbreak of the disease first occurred in Obi LGA, Benue state on January 29th.

Symptoms of the disease include:
Vomiting
Swelling and
Diarrhea

The victims all died within 48 hours according to Senator Abba Moro who represents the affected district.

It is suspected that a chemical used in fishing in the region may be responsible for the deaths. Water samples from the affected region are being analyzed.

May truly be the chemical used in fishing according to the write up... Not that we know about it being contagious or source clearly known...

However, the source here is tentative and speculative though. We hope it's ignorance from chemical used in fishing. And on the other hand, there should be Crack down against the use of such fishing methods.
