I want to take this Exam, Please help me with information to the following if you can.
Is there an age limit for this exam? I ask because i see 17 -19 everywhere i search on the internet and I am way above 19.
Is it possible to do the full registration for this test all by myself?
and most importantly Can i really prepare for this Exam alone, without any tutor or teachers? You know just using textbooks, past questions and other necessary materials. I feel like I should be able to, but I definitely need expert advice/opinions still.
Thanks.

You've got a good thing to research on, Kudos

I once also sat all days, night, weeks, months just to know much about this exam before taking it or advising anyone interested to sit for it.

Now to your Questions

Firstly there's no age limit for Education except NYSC in this world.
The reasons why You've have been seeing little ages on your research was because most Wealthy Students who have a good/standard background in there High School take this exam to study in UK or any part of the world

Cambridge A'Level as been an International Standard Exam to study in any University of your choice In UK and also any University of your choice in your country with chances of getting to 200L Direct and as well study any course of your choice.

The likes of this Exam are IJMB and Jupeb, the Nigeria made Exam.
Also Note: Not all institutions accept the made Exam (Ijmb and Jupeb) the likes of University of Ibadan, Obafemi Awolowo University and Co's. They only Accept Cambridge A'Level for the Substandard course with A's in the result

You can register as a Private Candidate, its very possible but note.... Registering as a Private Candidate doesn't mean Cambridge will fix the exam fee for you...Hell No. Its based on agreement from Cambridge and Exam Centers to charge there Candidate to there stupor while they collect there own share in USD-GBP

The price without tutor range between 270k+
While with Tutor range between 450k+ -500k+ depending on your area

The exam Study Books are not for sale in bookshops, you can't find them
Ones you pay up your money for Registration in your center, then they will distribute the Books to you and the guides as well

Make haste while the Sunrise, Registration is left with a month now while the exam start May-June or the 2nd batch sets Oct-Nov

Wish you Success ahead

No Dm's please I don't register nor take students to register, I only guide

God Bless.

Yes ,

Have you gone to make enquiry?
yes i have. No centers run it where i Stay. only big private Schools run it, and me I don't want to be in that environment for several reasons.
I think i will opt for JUPEB A levels it is cheaper, and not as demanding as the Cambridge A levels. I just need it to get 200 level admission into the English department at UNILAG this time next year.

Yeah! Jupeb is cheaper compare to Cambridge that's why I list it there too

Cambridge just have an advantages that Jupeb/IJMB doesn't have
You can use Cambridge result to study anywhere in the world but Jupeb/IJMB are mainly for the country alone

Why should it be a most? That's not Possible

Even those that attends and spent a lot still face issues just like Jamb

I know someone who registered for IJMB but was disappointed during registration after couples of months tutoring hard, later opt out for Jupeb and still not pass but later entered Kwasu with Jamb 200

The grace she carried was making out the exam same year with alternatives. if this wan no do, this wan go do

Everything is all about God Grace in this country if you're not the Atheist type
