Hi guys, pls help me decide. I’m considering getting either. What would you say as regards performance, comfort, ease of repair, cost of repair, availability of parts etc.

Performance goes to the RX350 with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that makes 270 horsepower, and it’s got a more sporty look.

To me, the highlander is basically an elevated camry though the AWD/Limited/SE trims packs a 3.5-liter V6 with 270hp as well

Comfort definitely goes to the Lexus, no question.

Ease of repair, cost of repair, availability of parts goes to the Highlander.

The best of all the models,better than even 2013.Te highlaner has the advantage of third row for large families.

For two years+ I have not done any major repair on my lexus2010 RX350,just normal maintance (change of engine/transmission fluid and break pads)

I think the v6 edition of the highlander and lexus rx are practically the same and will cost almost same amount to maintain.


Lexus Rx350 gives you the opportunity of upgrading the front/back look to a more recent year and sporty.

The toyota Highlander have more trunk space and suitable for a large family(7 seater).

Both vehicles are very reliable.

upgrading in what sense

lexus rx 350 give you the reliability of toyota couple with luxurious feel and comfort of say Benz,bimmer.the advantage the highlander has is the parts are less costly than lexus and readily available
