Buhari is a blame merchant

It is simply because both Mr. President and the vast majority of the citizens of this country simply donot understand what demicracy is all about:

'..A government OF THE PEOPLE....BY THE PEOPLE....FOR THE PEOPLE.... Mr. President prefers an autocracy and his people prefer a monarchy where the system of government is of THE PRESIDENT, BY THE PRESIDENT, FOR THE PRESIDENTIAL WISHES.

Simply put, in a true democracy no single person takes credit or blame because the leader rules by consensus IN ALL THINGS. He consults his people and they give him guidance. How can he then fail in a multitude of counselors. Who will complain if their suggestion fails.... That is democracy.

But when you listen to no one and do what you like personally you will end up finding whom to blame to cover up your personal failings because they are yours.

For example. The people are screaming for a change of military leadership to stem the change of security fortunes. It may be a right or wrong decision but it is a peoples choice. If it is not done Mr. President will have to carry whatever blame their continued stay causes himself.

But if they are removed and the situation stays same or worsens then the people will have no choice but to accept responsibility and blame no one but themselves so that next time they will be circumspect and cerebral in their thoughts and demands.

That is TRUE DEMOCRACY. The people are the thinkers and planners. The government is merely the executor of their collective will.
