Hello, you should be worried. Please don’t claim points for professional degree if WES evaluates it as Bachelors (if you know you won’t do IQAS later before your application decision is over). There is a reason why WES and other evaluating bodies are required by CIC. It’s to help the VO’s decision. VO would rather follow the evaluation of these bodies than your explanation in LOE for the purpose of objectivity. If you evaluated your law degree with WES, claim the points equivalent to your evaluation to avoid issues. I personally have not seen anyone who used WES for evaluation and claimed professional degree for crs points yet got PPR without updating the application with IQAS afterwards.

My advice would be if you know you would submit your application after the end of May, claim points for professional degree, send your degree to IQAS for evaluation by May. Post-AOR after your IQAS evaluation is out, raise CSE and update your application with it. That was what @Romstar1 did and got PPR. Gaming maybe, but it worked. https://www.nairaland.com/5471101/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/194#84789156

NOC and degree evaluation are not related.

Thank you dear, i appreciate. I'll try to get more information.

There is no requirement for the above (my understanding). What is required is in the link below.

Pls read through carefully. Is your experience in NOC skill A, B, O, paid (not volunteer), for 1 yr continuous within the last 10 years?

Is it possible to generate 1 reference code from Wes, and use it to send 2 transcripts, my wife and I graduated from the same university
And also how do I go about the different surnames on the results, we got married after university
Also do I just need to evaluate my Bsc plus PhD because I have a pgd, or just my PhD, and I heard Wes requires secondary cert?

You evaluate your certificate separately.
You will evaluate your highest qualification which is PhD and waec/neco is no longer required

Good morning

Pls I need an advice from you concerning my ECA.
I applied for my credential evaluation through ICAS and they confirmed they have received all the necessary docs and that my file has been queued for assessment since 10th Oct, 2019.
I'm yet to hear from them up till last week when I wrote them to check the status of my file and also to know when it will be ready, to my greatest surprise, they said they were still working on files submitted mid may 2019 and that it will take approximately 30 weeks from the day they received and queued my file for assessment to complete it...

My question: Is it advisable for me to go through ECA which I think take lesser time to complete the evaluation? I learnt it takes them approximately 7 weeks to complete the evaluation...
Thanks in anticipation

Good day peeps,

A quick clarification please.

My wife has 3 years experience from 4 different establishments. She has full details for 2 out of the 4 with regards to employment records that covers 2 years. With regards to the remaining 2 which covers 1 year, she has no pay slips (she was paid cash) nor employment letters. But she can secure reference letters from them.

My question: Will reference letters only from these 2 establishments suffice to prove her work 1 year experience in them without any other docs? What is the best way to go about this?

CIC requires only reference letter in the specified format. It id when you can't get in the correct format, you attach other documents. Pls go through IRCC website for more info.

AVO just dey mess folks up. In less than two months, medicals will expire and we'll be 12 months post AOR. Let them answer us o, I can't imagine coughing hundreds of thousands for school fees again.
Annoying thing is that you send them mail only to get generic response. Your life will just be on hold, every decision you make laidis, you will consider AVO/PPR

Thank you for your response. Please I want to be clear.

Are you saying if one is able to get reference letters written in the specified format, one may do away with any additional documents?

those additional documents have been requested from some people in the past not all. so people just attach ab initio. submit the reference letter only the visa officer may or may not ask for additional . i submitted only ref letter and from my gcms notes all the officer did was to check online for company's existence and checked the duties with the NOC , that was all.
