Well it is understandable if they hate that brand because of their social status and preference however they can't rule facts on ground. I personally don't use tecno phones however I would be more sympathetic to them when they are criticized by alleged elites. If you want to promote a brand, do so without spoiling others because it is unprofessional.

I have no selfish or ulterior motive. What ever expression I give are unbiased view about a phenomenon. However if you want to promote brand do so without spoiling others brands. Convince your readers without spoiling others brands on the need to use yours. Mind you, your viewers consider other factors before making buying decision. While other companies are using better processors on their midrange phones Tecno is stuck with mediaTek p22 and A22 not to talk of their flagships using helio p23 processor. The only reason Tecno (transsion holdings) is having the largest market share in Nigeria is because of how affordable they made their devices in the start of marketing in Nigeria and they pushed out alot of their phones here to dorminate which made the market filled with their accessories and instill fear to some people buying other brands they don't recognise that there is no easy way of getting any part or accessories of that phone even if the phone obviously have more better specs than Tecno mobiles. People like buying what they know but that doesn't make it a better option.

I like your submission and constructive criticism. Aside what you said price is still a major factor many still consider especially for low income earners( This category are more that middle or high class individuals). I also agree with you on the notion of accessories of these other brands which are not easily available. Samsung still have large customer base because they have the highlighted points raised. This however doesn't rule the fact that many Nigerians yearn for quality products but opt for brands that doesn't tear their pocket. I remember vividly when someone posted on this platform that many Nigerians searched for those top brands been advertised on this platform but settle for what they can afford.
