I told her about the plagiarism case which I was asked to prove but could not find my thesis online, which I knew was online. She asked me to inform them that a software known as D-Server crashed and since then they were unable to upload it and that was why my thesis couldn’t be found online, but it has been there.

The bolded above is the reason it took the Kenyan University from March to August to serve justice. But then one would expect the institution to communicate to her formally and not leave her to find out from the media.

My thoughts though!

Can someone summarize this epistle for me in 3 sentences.

Would have made a 3rd class in the university if I could constantly read long epistles like this
This is an issue of intellectual fraud, plagiarism.
A scholar copied the work of another, he never acknowledged the source, who is the original author.

A case of a lazy scholar who wants a PhD without working for it.

The funny thing is some of us here in Nigeria, Our lecturers have plagiarized our first degree research project.

You will see a lecturer assign a new area of study for a brilliant student to sweat and toil over as final research project; all in the hope that once the student is scored A or B in the project, the lecturer proceeds to convert such research work to journal article and publish online.

Most students don't really care, they just want to score well and move on to promising careers outside the University, while the lecturers always use their work to help themselves.
