Very bad. What we care about is where you are from? Not who you are . Not what you capable of . we rather put a zombie in position of authority simply because he is our brother or from a certain zone than bring in capable hands. Let's assume this very speaker is the most qualified person for the position. What sense is there for him to step down cus of zoning ? Can't we act as one for Pete sake?!
it happens every where even in the US. all qualified did not come from one zone

I've observed with dismay that u have never been smart.u don't think critically.I'm a Yoruba guy,but I know something for sure...that is,the people of bayelsa are not stupid and yes..they still have people with honour.not an ass like u.cheers my brother grin
If you think any politician in Nigeria has an iota of honor then I'm afraid your reasoning faculty needs to be examine...

DON'T know if you're Yoruba or not, an average Nigerian politician would kill in a bid to remain in office, in a country where staying in office is seen as a do or die affair, I don't expect any politician to voluntarily step down unless there's an option tied to it. You're only being unnecessarily critical of my comments because you're ignorant of what an average person in Nigeria will do to remain in office.

he already agreed to step down even before election
OK sir, voluntarily stepping down from a political office in Nigeria is abnormal, I believe something is wrong, this is very strange.

he is from same zone as the governor. PDP want to carry every zone along. He can be impeached easily

Oga you try. Don't believe everything you're told.

I have an uncle that greedily vied for two political posts and lost both. This is despite the fact that he would have won if only he had stuck to one. He was greedy, and everyone that would have voted for him turned against him for it.

At the same time, I have another uncle that supported his friend against his own brother and his own self for nothing but character. it was not his local government's turn, so he willingly gave the slot to his friend despite the fact that he could have taken it forcefully.

Just because you've not met decent politicians doesn't mean that there aren't decent ones. Trust me on that. I've met plenty.
