Goodevening all,trust we are doing good,concerning Inec recruitment I went to a cafe on Sunday to register, I was told d site for registration is not real,thank God I stucked into nairaland I was amazed when I saw people comment here,please for I need u to help me with answers to this questions. 1 am a current corper will be through by march 05,am I also eligible to apply. 2 what are those things you were told to upload 3 Did u guy do the registration on your phone or at the cafe.Thanks God bless you.

Yes, you can apply on your phone and the only document is your passport photograph. You may not be able to apply because you'll need your NYSC discharge number

NySc number is the same call up number that start with Alphabet... /year / then number... Check your call up letter

so many wrong information on this thread, one must be careful.

Nysc number is that number at the top right side started with A00****** , avoid mistake .

Are you using your mobile phone for registration?
Here's a little tweak if your passport isn't showing on your application slip.. (Chrome browser)

Click on "Generate application slip"

Once it loads, go to options on your chrome browser and then select "Desktop site"

Your application slip with your passport in it will appear.

You can of course screenshot it then and print later

@iyajelili thanks for the respond and everyone. so what advice will u give me cos I don't have my NYSC discharge yet,will be through with my service by march 05. Gosh I pray they extend the closing date.

For those that are still struggling to apply.
You may also try what I used. I am not assuring anyone that these will always work, but somehow they worked as I applied for my wife successfully today.

1. Attempting early morning and/or late in the night seem to be better that during the day.

2. Try using laptop. You could use your phone's Hotspot if no modem

3.Chrome and Opera browsers seem not to be helping lately, but Microsoft Edge (not mobile) is doing well with loading the pages needed including the dreaded photo upload.

The only minus is that Edge didn't (doesn't) show properly the drop down of core knowledge areas and the courses and certifications.. You could either switch to Chrome to conclude this stage or print the page if you have access to a printer

4. Log in on two tabs on the browser.. As one is loading your request continue another section on the second tab.Didnt auto sign out. I tried it and it worked fine (on a laptop).

Has anyone even looked at the specifications for the passport photos?

One of the specifications was 'plain light background', does that mean white background?

I tried googling it and learned that the term specifically referred to the lighting and didn't say much about backgrounds, which confused me more.

Another said 'no lines allowed'. I don't even know what that means.

Please can anyone clarify?

On the website, they pointed out some stuffs about the passport and how it can lead to automatic disqualification..

So guys, make sure your passport displays before generating any slip....
