Good one, that was how a girl came to my office that she's from play credit, I told her I knw about it besides I don't need to borrow any money for now, and if i need i will get from playsore she insist I can jst hv it and better through her for a very low interest rate..I do as she wish gave me the app and still trying to activate for me, I told her again I will do that if I need money, she continue again bla bla a code she will generate that will be sent to me within 1 minute will expire I continue with her I jst hv to stop everything when she's requesting for bvn, immediately she walk away like what a bad market is this

bvn is required for all financial transactions. Especially if you're borrowing online. There's nothing suspicious about her request.

I know if only I go through a right source or if I downloaded the app myself, not like she making activate wht I don't need at that moment

Everyone quoting me, I understand vividly what needed to register such app, remember I said she's going generate some kind of one time password for lower interest payback which I'm not comfortable with is it not better she write down my name and fone num to verify to them in their office that I registered instead of she doing the activation for me

Lol. In the underworld it's called the OTP scam. It can be used to hack anything from Facebook account to whatsapp to bank accounts etc. You just need to shine your eye

One actually called my daughter yesterday. He claimed he is a gtb staff in charge of atm maintenance. He asked her if she had picked her atm card at their nearest branch she said yes, he asked her to pick the atm to call number that start with 5 somthing. Immediately I heard that I asked her to put the phone on speaker so I could hear proper. She started calling some random number. Then d guy switch instantly saying "you wey water never dry for your head Wan DEy do ashawo work " and he hung up.
What surprised me the most is that d idiot knows her full name both first, initial and surname



Let's all be guided. The hunger is real. We won't be victim of this hungry mongers
