Enquiry On Accessing Bank Transfer API by Nobody: 11:23pm On Jul 08, 2013
probably, i didn't get the topic right but what i mean is this: i am currently working on a model or application which i need to automatically credit my clients' bank account with cash processed from the users' debit or credit card... in essence, the application acts like a broker between buyers and sellers. the clients being the sellers and users the buyers.
Now the challenge is, do our banks in Nigeria allow access to applications to automate transfers? if yes, how can this be done.
I greet you all

What u require is a payment gateway, more like a webservice from the transaction provider, examples are interswitch,mastercard,eTranzact,@least the cards services I'm familiar with.most of their web services are RESTful and r easy to implement .getting started with interswitch wil cost u 150k,then the rest follows, consuming their web service in ur application.

thanks....but i was thinking that using interswitch and others limits transactions to one account, that is, developers account.
the model i am talking involves potentially thousands of accounts.....

You need payment aggregators like Interswitch,eTranzact, Flutterwave, Paystack.

I will personally advice u use Flutterwave or Paystack. But make your research on whick is best.

You will need to signup with them by getting a developer accout and then you will have access to their APIs.
