Youths of Oro Nation in Akwa Ibom are today Monday, 24th February 2020 protesting non recognition of the area as oil producing communities by the Akwa Ibom State Government.

Vehicular movement and economic activities are shut down within Oron Town on Monday.

The youths under the aegis of Oro Youth Congress have threatened to halt activities of all oil companies operating in the zone after 14 days of inaction by the federal and state governments, as well as the IOCs.

The 14 days ultimatum counts from Monday, 24th February, 2020.

So your suggestion is useless.

Recognition of Oro Nation as core oil-producing area in Akwa Ibom State is our God-given right and any attempt to exclude us should be vehemently resisted. God Bless Oro Nation!
