The embezzlement is about to hit a new high.

Abacha loot, ECA, Tax payments since June 2015, seized money and properties (by EFCC), etc... nothing to show.

Now, they want to forcefully collect our purewater money.

There should be tax exemption for some categories of Nigerians. A lot of people are barely surviving and every kobo counts for their survival . How can a mason who earns 3500 per day, without his daily expenses, be asked to pay tax because he has a bank account ? It is so annoying how this government is so insensitive.

Most of these private employers deduct tax monthly from your salary without remitting if to the government..

All salary earners must have what we called individual tax identification number..

Also, company must have tax identification number for remitting their taxes..

Open that your company account with SCUML issue.

We know Nigerian officials embezzle public funds and divert to private use. The problem is they've been mismanaging oil money, that's why we don't want them taking our money

The FIRS regulates Company tax, Abuja residents and Federal civil service tax. It has nothing to do with students, pdp, apc or anybody that is not one of the above.

Bro. It is written clearly: "companies and other businesses". I am guessing businesses would include partnerships, sole proprietorships etc. No instructions that ordinary individuals be captured.

I don't understand this kind of rubbish, so if you're an account holder you're mandatory to pay tax? I wonder if the people in Government went to school at all. They should create a device that'll identity workers and registered business first. Before introducing this Rubbish.

Any course I lay on this Government will affect their Generation and unborn, so student will be paying tax plus unemployed youths? And the money will be embezzled by people who earns close to 29 million monthly and Governors? And the rest will be channeled to rehabilitate Boko Haram? Uncircumcised thunder will strike any government official that use my tax to do rubbish so shall it be.

. You're right but developed countries used the taxes to provide social amenities like hospital, water, electricity, free medical, free education, security and many more.

I will surely join the protest on this .
