Just want to ask, can anything be done about the low ground clearance of honda civic, such as bigger tyres and extra large rims. And people always write off honda civic because its wheel keeps jacking off, we see that alot on the highway. Just asking.

This is true but i tell you, it doesn't just happen without a notice.
I'll speak for myself. The three years I've driven Honda Civic, i have never fallen victim to any ball joint accident because immediately the sound comes on, i either drive straight to my mechanic or have him come over and work on it. That said, it is only God that saves.
Heard about the rim and tyres uplift but i didn't do it. Instead i slow down on bumps, pot holes and i select trip destinations as well and my brother in-law who drives the car now does the same.

,make sure you're not buying a rusty car, check the VIN Number, transmission & suspension very well .

But I'll still advise you to take the VIN and do thorough investigation.

chinyce:

Be Cautious and obtain a detailed vehicle history report from computerglobal which can reveal many hidden problems from a vehicle’s past, including flood titles, recalls and more, and also will indicate if a vehicle has been registered in at-risk areas during flood and hurricane seasons.
Consumers could end up saving a great deal of time and money in repairing damages that were unbeknownst to them with they made the purchase.

Nice one.

Keep the hard work going bros. Despite that you still need to learn and try as hard as you can to carry every one in the social strata along instead of disenfranchising among classes of people.

I was not really with your policy within.

Bought it through a friend. He does car dealing for a living.

Where did you get these type of offer??
Good offer I must say if its toks
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by yommie007: 10:37am On Feb 26, 2020
Sure I understand. I actually searched for the car myself from the auction site and gave him the lot number to purchase with his account. The whole deal is open. A favour from a friend though
Monkeyprick:

Though that price is too good to be true because the 2003-2005 Toks Civic sells for 1.150 minimum (from Yankee) but if you so trust this deal, make sure you're not buying a rusty car, check the VIN Number, transmission & suspension very well .
Very very good car. Fuel economy is superb, Factory fitted AC is dope, maintenance is top notch except for the low ground clearance. I've had mine for 3 years, gave me good returns when i had no job, my wife's brother who drives it now takes good care of it too.
But I'll still advise you to take the VIN and do thorough investigation.

I know I haven't made much effort to recover the money recently. The ginger to do that is back now.
There was a tactics I used while going after my fraudster years back, it's nearly worked but due to corruption and unprofessionalism in the banking system the dude escaped.

Report the case to the police, that same account you transffered money to the police will get a court doxument to place an alert on the account, anytime he tries to make withdrawal from the account the bank will alert securities and he will be arrested.

You can be lucky, if he's the type that does bank transactions a lot two weeks is enough to get him arrested.

My lawyer will always say, justice can be delayed but can never be denied.

In maintaining a certain standard, sacrifices have to be made. We loose a lot of money by limiting our selves to certain vehicle ages and brands, but at the end of the day premium service delivery is our goal for any vehicles we accept.

I have opened several threads that can help with remote diagnosis of vehicle faults.

Guys, please i need a Car Hire service in Akure Asap for Airport pickup.

Please note, I don't want a private person, perhaps a reliable car company will do. Thanks guys.
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by yommie007: 11:19am On Feb 26, 2020
It's simple but takes time.
Copart.com is popular
Iaai.com
Abetter.bid
Just input the specifications you want on the search space and check out multiple cars.
Usually, I pick 3 to 4 options which reasonably will win 1 of it.

So after 3 years of operation
drivers needs a body & vehicle tag .
All in the name of generating money to the coffers of LASG. All the taxes they generated over the years, how many of its impact have we felt as citizens?
The ripple effect of this like so many other stupid enforcement is : so many people will be out of job before the end of March .

Thank you for choosing to drive and earn with Bolt!

The Ministry of Transport is in the process of reviewing the documents needed by drivers who wish to drive with ride-hailing platforms in Lagos. These new requirements are to be a part of new incoming ride-hailing regulations for the entire industry and may require the driver-partners to obtain these additional documents:

Driver Documents;

Lagos State Drivers' Institute Driver's Recertification Card (LASDRI Card)
A Driver Badge issued by Lagos State Ministry of Transport's Department of Public Transport and Commuter Services
Vehicle Documents;

A State Hackney Permit issued by the Lagos State Motor Vehicle Administration Agency (MVAA)
Vehicle Body Tag issued by Lagos State Ministry of Transport's Department of Public Transport and Commuter Services
Discussions with the Lagos Ministry of Transport are still ongoing and we would continue to work with relevant stakeholders to build a stronger ride-hailing industry with your welfare at its heart.

While these new document requirements are not yet in force but are tentatively expected to commence from March 1st 2020, current engagement efforts are focused on ensuring that any new regulations are implemented efficiently.

P.S: An official communication from Lagos State Ministry of Transportation with more details is expected in the coming days.

All this requirement will be around 100k plus and you still need to renew it every year. What a country!
