I don't engage in stupidity and I don't support fooolishness.

Unless am being shortsighted, I can't see where this lady in question refused to pay. Infact this is not even a case of robbery yet.

Her only assertion was that she needs to see the fare review and receipt from bolt which nobody is sure whether she has seen or not.

Please lets not start taking this thing too far by bringing everything online at the first instance especially at the early stages. When you are defrauded or think you are about to be defrauded, engage the rider for at least 1-2 days. If no tangible explanation is coming forth or if she is still recalcitrant, then one can bring it and investigations will start.

Infact, its even obvious from her instagram page that this girl is a fashion designer and creative artist. Nobody should bring her company to disrepute please. Because should anybody google her number, it may pop up here that she is a criminal and her page pictures will show up too. From my observation, this is still a clear case of misunderstanding. I may be wrong though.

Why am saying this is I wouldn't want a situation where this thing will become outright childish and stupid. Any slightest thing, we rush to spray there pictures online.

Infact the other girl was harassed both on social media and on phone because IT BECAME CLEAR THAT HER INTENT WAS TO DEFRAUD AND TO STEAL. She insulted drivers that tried to reach across to her. Thats when I personally decided to make her see hell on earth.

P.S
For those of you who think this is a female thing, wait till the day a male scammer is brought here with clear evidence. Then you can judge if we are being pro male or pro female. While I may have personal issues with the female gender based on nasty experiences from them on this job, it doesn't remove the fact that crime is crime irrespective of gender.

This is the first time I will be quoting you here. With all due respect, stop all this panic attacks. CoVid19 is already a problem which we know, proffer solution rather than fanning the embers of anxiety. The bolded message above depicts you as a pessimist.

That said, Drivers should please get a face mask to serve as personal protective measure when in contact with any one feeling feverish, has a flu, cough or shortness of breath (difficulty in breathing). Mostly for inbound passengers from suspicious countries. We should be discreet in handling these situations.

The numbers of the Lagos State public health authorities are: 08023169483, 08033565529 or 08052817243.

so discussing about a virus is trying to cause panic attack, what has been a pessimist or optimist got to do with this.

you accuse me of being a pessimist then went ahead to give safety measures on how drivers to protect themselves, it shows you know the consequences of this virus when it hit our shores, most countries are trying to limit flights from china and other infected countries, Nigeria isnt doing anything and even our information minister said on newspaper that they can stop chinese from flying into Nigeria, what sort of nonsense is that, this is a global epidemic and nigeria is joking. if i am pessimistic let me be, i know the dangers of this virus when it hit nigeria, lesson should be taken from the ebola virus where people of first contact died because of one man from Liberia.

note that the common facemask wont save you but the recoomended N95 respirators isthe best.

Yes. He drives my car just to get by.
And I'd like to ask if both days are pick ups and return trips?

Pick up in the morning to destination in Lekki, then pick up later by 4pm from Lekki to Ikeja.

How much please.

(2) If any driver should use Saka or try to defraud a rider by adjusting the fares in one way or the other and then try to drag reputable people into his war of atrition, ogun will finally remember you. Am saying this because this may happen soon here. If you try to defraud a rider and then try to use us to harass the person to pay you fraudulently, be rest assured that your tyres will turn to ballons one day when on high speed. You know the implications!

Usually i don't do this but sometimes True anecdotes beat overused jokes.
You read my comments and chats clearly and i don't think any of the sentences there was insultive or vindictive .
Someone came here and narrated what happened and i called the Shawty to know what's up. She pretended not to take a ride until i described the trip which she eventually owned up to but the network was clogged up, so i decided to text her.
What pissed me off was the condition he placed him (Look for an Access bank account) as if that option was included on the App.
I went online and found her information and decided to drop it here ' incase' she tried to prove smart. I didn't talk to her afterwards until i checked my WhatsApp message and saw the array of insults she lashed at me and even threatened to deal with the driver because he asked for help.
What is wrong is wrong. You took a ride and asked for a review, even after the review came back as the original fare, you feigned busy and asked the driver to go look for an Access bank account.
No disrespect bro.

I posted earlier the official links. It's 3-15k to get it depending on engine size. An added expense but not the huge number being passed around. Honestly I think that this should actually be protection from touts. And you guys should really try to unionize in case this causes more trouble than help. You can formally write to the local (is it local ) Government if this makes you targets.

As far as the badge, it's used over here to protect passengers. Also helps Ubers identify each other in times of need.

Always do your own research before freaking out!

You guys should also respectfully demand an Uber pick up spot at the airport now they are making you pay. All foreign places have one complete with signs in the airport.

Very true and the badge is a good development, fact is must of these ideas been introduced are already operation in London and other developed countries

Am I to believe her? Not completely. She was bitterly complaining about her whatsapp conversation with you. Now, does the complainant knows anyone that uses an Access bank account or can anyone here volunteer? Let's nip this in the bud as soon as we can.

Chief, you saw my conversations with her. Was i rude, harassing or called her names?
You saw it, if I had taken any part out and you do not believe me, you could have at least asked her to screen munch the chat.
Well, she has paid and that's the most important thing and God bear me witness I'm not doing this for anyone else again. So help me Lord!

Do we have all the amenities the British government provided her citizens in this country?
Do you know how much goes into the coffers of the government from tolls alone?
What have they used it for than to enrich and empower touts, land grabbers and friends of the Bourdillon and employ mofos like you with 40k salary and order you mobtops to harass and coerce commoners like you to pay stupid levies.
I tire for all these LASG agents on this thread.

Yes, you can stop picking up passengers arriving Nigeria from the airport till the situation is calm globally . You never know who have had a contact with an infected person in transist, incubation period of this virus is 7-14 days, an infected might not know he is infected.

Countries are temporarily stopping visitors from coming, in northern Italy, the death row is increasing, shops are closed and towns are in lock down, so it will be better to protect your self by reading online about it. The normal nose mask won't save you. There is a special mask for this virus. I doubt it is abundant in Nigeria

Stop. Just stop please.

Stop what?

Your article is about the US, I see no similarities with what is going on in northern Italy or what will happen in our shores.

Cities and towns in northern Italy are on lock down, shops are closed, schools are closed, the death row is increasing because of more mismanagement, the Italian govt is seeking support from EU

But how does your article relate with Italy or Nigeria?

STOP you obviously didn't read the article. OYO be your case.

I read the article, The US is also placing preventive measures and infact told their citizens to avoid china.

The US isnt the only country in the world putting preventive measures

Saudi arabia also have placed a temporary ban on pilgrims coming into their country for the lesser hajj

Japan recently closed down its schools temporarily

Italy closed down towns and schools in northern italy from where the disease is spreading to other part of europe

The Uk recently shut down schools in some part of the country

My question to you

What is Nigeria government doing to prevent the virus from entering Nigeria? No travelling warning nothing except wearing of surgical mask

Case study from ebola

Lot of medical personnels and people of first contact died as a result of one man from Liberia who brought the virus to Nigeria. Also people were isolated for days in government hospitals without food because no doctor wanted to meet them.

I have a doctor friend she basically said no hospital is prepared for the virus when it hit our shores, even medical personnels in nigeria arent protected talkless of the ordinary citizen.

Because you like money does not mean you have to put your life at risk.you won't be there to spend it

Nigeria isn't the US..Our weak health facilities will fail us just like it did with Ebola, most people will praise nigeria for reducing Ebola transmission but forget to talk about patients just with a slight high fever who were isolated and starved to death because healthcare worker were scared to check up on them.

Nobody is even talking about the virus financial impact on businesses and to the global economy.

Okay

So drivers should not accept trips from airports, but they can accept from houses, offices, eateries, and all other parts of the country? Is there any inscription on the forehead for those that landed using an international flight?

A good number of international passengers have been checked from their departure before they boarded the plane, especially those from European countries. As much as we ought to be careful, the airport may actually be more safer than the local market or mall.

Kindly hand over the phone to sexylassie please. The one I know won't think this way

The best way for an uber driver to avoid getting infected is to switch off his app, lock himself in his house and sleep.

As long as you wake up everyday, you life is in God's hands. The person you'll pick in his house may have gotten it from someone that got it from someone that got it from someone that arrived Nigeria yesterday through Seme border
