Lionel Messi has no achievements in today's El Clasico defeat to Real Madrid.

Stats show that Messi has not scored a goal in El Clasico since Ronaldo left Real Madrid in summer of 2018.

Barca captain missed the first El Clasico in 2018/19 season due to injury and his team-mate Rakitic scored the only goal in the second meeting.

This season, El Clasico ended with a goalless draw in the postponed first round. Today the Catalans misfire and suffer 2-0 defeat to Madrid.

Well to me both of them are great players but i prefer messi to ronaldo because he's simply the best. Sometimes in life we experience failures n setbacks but with time messi will be BACK!

Since Ronaldo left Madrid in 2018, Messi has won 1 Ballon d'or and 1 Laurel's award(He is the only Footballer in history to win this best Sportsman award)!!!!
