I was in the student common room watching football match with the other student, the crowd was much, temperature was high the atmosphere was intense. So it came to me, I took my phone out, opened the mi remote app and switch off the TV.

No one knew it was me there was confusion in the room besides no one would suspect because very few people know that a phone has that kind of feature.

ok yesterday we went to an eatery and the music been aired out was kinda annoying so i just picked my phone opened my tv remote app and switched of both the tv.

My guy uses the Xiaomi mi a3.. We both went to play game in a place we will call "game-house". We were playing snooker game, all of a sudden the guys playing gamble with football game started arguing and the noise became very loud. My guy picked up his phone, opened the mi remote and switch off the three (3) tv sets and immediately the guys that were arguing got shock and they started cursing the guy incharge of the game-house and me and my guy were just laughing at them while we enjoyed our snooker game with less noise.. Ir Blaster is just sweet and handy...

Just Google if the y7 has an IR Blaster. But you could also check the top of your phone there is a small dot there it serves as the IR Blaster.

Y'all can't relate

People were watching movie on my laptop while I was charging it. And when the light was off, they were still watching and I needed to save power to continue with my project.
I jejely use PC remote to shut it down remotely through my phone. They thought the battery has died and they handed me my laptop and everybody is happy.

In an fast food in Cotonou, the cold was much. I had to turn off their A.c. When the guy turned it ON again, I OFF it with phone Ir remote control. When they couldn't find reason, they left the A.C alone

Lol, the IR stands for Infra red so I guess it is still your days, don't come and be forming legend for us... Most of us used the old school infra red on symbian phones.

I was at a viewing enter watching Ball. And my team was losing I just swichted off the TV with my MI remote, sadly the TV doesn't have remote, and everybody rose.

I was in the the medical center in my school waiting for drugs with other people, when it's time to go, I just switched off the TV and left everybody was in awe.
