Herdsmen are not sabotage amotekun. They only fighting for their interests in an openly place. And that is better than pretenders. Do you know that southeast have meeting with president and sultan of sokoto, for their opinion on Amotekun.
Aftermath of inauguration of amotekun,Ebonyi state governor accused southern governors that they stolen his ideal that Ebony government was the first to propose regional security outfits.
After some weeks later he sermon a meeting in Enugu with IGP and traditional rulers just to frustrate operation amotekun.

They use community policing as a cover up in other to destroy the plans of their counterpart. Very funny people.
But all this na palm wine parlor gist now

So people are being harassed for speaking up against Fulani herdsmen killing? And you call that democracy?

Can you tell us exactly what you are afraid of if Nigeria splits?

Are you afraid your region will collapse into the dust of the Sahara or what?

Buhari is a bigoted president who thinks he's a Moslem president of Fulani colony. Otherwise he won't be releasing Boko Haram suspects back into the society.

Since the Fulani killer herdsmen have been killing people, how many have been prosecuted and jailed?

Go talk to the Benue people and ask them how many of their people have been killed.

Threatening people with government arrests here shows how far Nigeria has fallen.

Nigeria isn't practicing democracy anymore. You guys are practicing Bubucracy.

Karma is always a punctual and efficient bitch and she's coming for you.

Why would Igbo leaders sabotage the establishment of Amotekun? Of what benefits to them?

Instead make una questions those who have been making audio talk about Amotekun, na innocent people una dey blame.

why would igbo leaders sabotage amotekun? Why do you people always find a way to blame igbos? What is wrong with you people? Have igbos killed even one yoruba person anywhere in nigeria or the whole world? Have the igbos ever fought yorubas anywhere in nigeria or the world? NO. So why would an igbo person sabotage amotekun? This is really sad. Honestly.

You always wish we take our fights to the streets. But no, we are not animals like you. Till tomorrow, Yoruba's and Igbos will continue to bicker and fight. It ends on the internet.

On Amotekun we stand! Igbos support for Amotekun might not have been felt, because its not fully operational. You all know when you run all the way to Funtua Jalon.

Divide and Conquer Jihadist, you think you can reap from our division. We wise pass una.

It is still early to show ur herdsmen the road to Funtua Jalon... Tell them to start packing their bags and luggage from pple's land. Their plans has failed.

Honestly speaking, NL has gone to the dogs, am sorry to say. I mean, from what i heard on the video posted by the Op, it's evident that there is a case of ransom being discussed here and the family of the kidnapped individual (by obviously a Fulani herdsman) are struggling to raise even a pittance of the ransom money which means most likely, the kidnapped man will be killed but what I read from subsequent comments on the matter is inconsequential and asinine contributions.

what is even more poignant is the fact we all know this is not an ad hoc occurrence- in fact, it’s the norm now in the country, most especially, southern and the middle-belt of nigeria. However, instead of proffering solutions to curb these incessant menace, we come online to expend valuable time and resources on frivolous banters whilst these aberrations persist in gathering momentum in the nation. When are we going to sit up and face a common enemy? What will it take before we mobilise to confront a common threat to god-given lives? Are we prepared to abandon our ancestral land to these herdsmen or wait until they turn the nation into another Somaliland?

Amotekun that seems to be a likely strategy to halt these threat to our ways of life and existence, in its track and what do i see here but yidiots and abject mo.ro.ns coming here to pray for its sudden death. Meanwhile, every part of the nation, most notably the southern part is feeling the heat which is getting intense every day,

Oh, how i wish our so-called useless leaders will be at the receiving end of these hazards, say someone like lai mohammed’s mother being kidnapped-the fulani herdsmen will surely get 9 digit millions ransom from that one or even osibanjo’s sister, maybe then they will sit up and find a lasting resolution to these nuisance. The other day, it was amechi-our federal minister of transport that nearly got caught in the "eye of the storm" only for him to lie about it all in public, even when there were many eye witnesses to the incident.

Chei, I smh for this country.

Bottom line is that Yorubas are awake now to the menace Fulani militants pose to the peace and security of the SW. We see the tacit support these killers are getting from the seat of power ,to continue terrorising Nigeria, and we can only conclude that this is not the leadership we voted for or supported at great cost to ourselves.

It is distasteful to read that terrorist and brutal killers are being "rehabilitated" and 'educated'. This is offensive and the sort of things Yorubas are now observing and drawing conclusions from. In the end, we will always move decisively , against anyone, when our interests are threatened. We are strategic and visionary. Yorubas will find a solution to the current security crisis we are facing.

First it is short term physical solutions and initiatives like Amotekun and then long term and far-reaching political solutions to ensure Yorubas are never in this position again. It is time we begin to look at political provisions that can free some regions from the unfair burden of 'one Nigeria' others place on them. The North cannot say the Yorubas have not tried enough for them and they should now accept Nigeria will end when the average Yoruba believes that this is the only solution to preserve our way of life and to secure the freedoms we cherish. No one will stop the Yorubas when we are fed up. Indeed every sensible person will get fed up when they see death and know the barbaric killers yet arrests are never made and it is actually even the victims who are put behind bars and persecuted.

Bruv I hear you but Yorubas are awake now. Trust me on that. Of course there is nothing we can do about myopic and tribalistic Southerners who would rather cut their face to spite their nose but Yorubas now fully understand that they must act to put an end to the SW becoming overrun by lawless marauders whose way of life cannot coexist peacefully with ours. It won't stop here and there will be serious confrontations and fundamental political falling out with ethnic undertone that will mean big stakeholders cannot hide behind diplomatic talk anymore.

I think Yoruba intelligentsia and political class are now becoming aware of the fact that other have to change their ways drastically otherwise this one Nigeria thingy is not sustainable. from the mood on the ground in the SW, I think PMB is the last Northerner Yorubas will indulge. Seeing some Fulanis getting away with murder and impunity, literally, is really making Yorubas sit up in anger. The arrogance of Miyetti Allah recently is incendiary also because it is the behaviour of those who feel they have backing at the highest level rather than the actions of those who understand they too must abide by the laws which no Nigerian should be above.

Im not sure these people listened to the exchange in the video. Some people look in threads to see who is present and they jump in to cause problem and derail.

Nobody who listened to that exchange will not be moved. We listened to the voice of a murderer passing death sentence on an innocent person and his soon to be executed victim.

Those who say Amotekun should not carry arms are a joke. Like the OP said this video is an awakener, unfortunately many people will not be awakened. Any fulani caught in the bush with gun should be executed, no need for his arrest. The gun is enough as proof of crime.
