The Vice Chancellor of the University of Osun has been called out for allegedly striping a student to his underwear because he wore an inscribed Jean.

Social media user, god of social media has shared a picture wearing a shirt and his underpants, he claims the VC of Uniosun, Osogbo campus stripped him for wearing an inscribed jean and he was left to walk around the school looking for something to wear to cover up his body.

He claims he was not the only student who went for clearance that was stripped.

He wrote;

Today, I was striped naked for wearing an inscribed Jean to uniosun osogbo campus for clearance By the VC himself

I was left to walk around the school premises to get another cloth for myself and it was not only me… There were other students involved too

I thought this uniosun was only down in the university rankings, I never knew it is because of the low i .q of their proud unprofessional and illiterate vice chancellor. You do not see schools like unilag and uniben doing this , explains why they have a very successful and well to do alumni. That old school vc deserved to be striped off everything, his pride, his manhood, his nonsense , his Job and even his foolishness. Our attention has been drawn to a piece of online news published by Instablog, and some blogs recently that: “UNIOSUN VC strips graduating students half-naked on campus.” The management of Osun State University hereby disclaims such news. The Vice-Chancellor did not strip any graduating students naked on campus.

The university has rules and regulations that all students sign to abide with. Chapter seven, page 33 of the Osun State University’s Handbook states that “Wearing tattered, patterned or flowered jean on the campus is not acceptable." In view of this, the Authorities of the University from time to time instruct students wearing such unacceptable dresses to remove them and find acceptable ones before being allowed to the premises of the University.

The University hereby reconfirms its commitment to the vision to be a center of excellence providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences which will engender the production of entrepreneurial graduates capable of impacting positively on their environment while being globally competitive.

We will continue to ensure decency, morality and high level of discipline among our staff and students. We hereby warn every student of the institution to always abide by the signed rules and regulations of the University or be ready to face the consequences.
