i believe thiz lol , had a friend back then i. junior secondary, i think the best punsihment anyone could give him was to tell him to put his head on the desk and sleep lol guy sleep no be here , omce he kicks in hos gear e don go abuja already.

REM sleep (sleep paralysis). He was half asleep, probably feeling and hearing everything. Just can't wake. Happens when someone goes long time without sleep. Probably opening early and closing late.

His body is shutting down.

He needs a break and lots of sleep. If not, stroke. God forbid.

This is purely due to the situation in Lagos....you go to work or business by 4am to beat d traffic,arrive by 9 or 10 am....close by 4 or 5pm and get home by 10 or 11pm...then still sleep by 12am from Monday to Saturday....and the vicious circle continues...

The thing about sleep paralysis is that the person slowly pulls out of it. It is just a brief shut down of the body. He slept off and then the paralysis set in. So the slap, touch, tappings will slowly pull him out. I think cold water somehow touches the nerves in a way to wake him up faster.

It is a very scary experience. I pity the guy. He should just go home and sleep. Leave hustle for two or three days.

Sleep paralysis mostly occurs when you sleep on your back. I have not seen anyone that can experience it inside a Danfo. I get your point anyway, the hustle and stress of commuting can knock one out.

A passenger sleeping has caused panic in a driver and other passersby after he refused to wake up even after getting to his last bus stop in Lagos.

Reports have it that the incident happened at the Iyana Ipaja area of the state.

Passengers and driver of the commercial bus tried waking the said guy with multiple taps and slaps, all to no avail.

“Na sleep be this”, a concerned passerby could be heard in the video.

“Put your hands in his nose first”, another concerned passenger told the driver.

“He is breathing, he’s just sleeping… he’s just high”, the driver responded.

This apparently, caused a mild panic at the bus-stop until someone came with water, which woke him up.

“Oga, which kain sleep you come sleep”, a
passerby inquired after he ‘came back to life’.

Wont they panic? Fortunately police no enter the matter. If police had bee involved they will accuse the guy of using drugs. They will accuse passengers, passers by and driver of encouraging the guy to use drugs. Arrest all of them with 10k bail money per head.
