That he summed the stolen meat to N5000 does not mean the man ate the whole N5000 meat at that time... That was his own share of the accummulated stolen meat in the hotel... Them no go understand, imagine every worker tasting meat to check if it's properly fried, nothing go remain to sell. Nigeria is one of the hardest place to do business, insincerity of staffs are really killing businesses, imagine a restaurant where kitchen staff also come with their own rice to cook and serve customers, bar men smuggle their own drinks to sell. Visitors check into hotels and not recorded by the receptionist etc. Most of these people shouting the man is harsh don't understand how hotel business works.

Our Nigerian politicians have done things worst than this but no one prosecuted and sentenced them, but this man stole fried meat and he was sentenced. He may have done it as a result of hunger. Bad country.
